The folded photo, the other half is it Miss Pi's BF who got framed with her? Wonder who that is, so secretive...
Because they made very sure to NOT show us the other side of the picture, it must be some character we already know. No idea who, though...

Maybe in later episodes we would get to know that her sister was framed in that way by ANSP. Just like we got…
Yeah it's so ridiculous, some of them tried to argue that the presence of spies in 1987 justifies the ANSP's evil deeds. Like what world are they living in? The existence of ISIS terrorists is a fact, but it doesn't justify torturing innocent people based on their religion only...

That was my hunch from the beginning... now it seems quite possible again

Jokes aside, i like this romance we are getting from this drama. It is definetely not your standard outright open…
that is perfectly fine 🤗 I don't have a problem with intimate scenes, as long as they don't feel gratuitous. But for example never got past the first episode of Sense8, because characters being introduced in a rather explicit sex scene felt like the wrong genre lol

I've seen so many people declare that they like kdramas because they are "not dirty like Western stuff with all the sex", love in kdrama is all about pining and looks and maybe the occasional hand holding and it is pure and beautiful... here we have a romance that is all in the eyes but viewers demand explicit 😂😂😂

This isn't Snowdrop related but it is Haein related. I'm currently watching Something in the Rain, as it's one…
He is one of the most underappreciated actors imo. Even when he played "only" romance, his performance was always flawless, living so naturally in his character's skin that it felt like he was not even acting... I'm happy that a lot of people are now discovering his talent ❤️

You mention North Korean and KGB spies in (presumably Western/South Korean) movies, now what do these two have…
I think Snowdrop wants to humanize the small players from both sides, who are all just pawns in the games of the higher-ups

I bet that communist spies are cool and heroic in Russian or NK movies, while imperialist spies are ruthless, impulsive and evil. It is very simply about who the filmmakers want the audience to root for.

Theory Time.Theory # 1I was just thinking about the ages and timeline of how things happened. But first thing,…
Unfortunately, the theory doesn't check out with what we know from jtbc character sheets.
Suho's mother is not from SK but from a NK party elite family, who divorced her husband to keep her status.
At 64, Rim Ji Rok is rather young to be Suho's grandfather - not impossible but not likely.
Ms Pi was born in 1945 (she is 42 in international age). She wouldn't even been attending Hosu university in 1961.
Also, even if raised by a grandfather, a Korean would never call him "father". Correct family titles are very important for them, it is a super hierarchical society.

Maybe it's because I've seen many movies and drama about NK spies/soldiers. I don't find gyeok chan to be impulsive…
You mention North Korean and KGB spies in (presumably Western/South Korean) movies, now what do these two have in common? They are always the bad guys, against our own spies who are of course cool and heroic.
Maybe the "usual" portrayal of enemy agents is not exactly neutral and objective...

lol I know it is not likely, ever since Suho called the old guy "father". But I still can't help but looking for secret parent/children relationships after Sky Castle 😂

Yeah the whole thing is a mystery, looking forward to finding out more about his backstory...

I still give 1% chance that the high ranking NK woman is actually his mother. :)

Oh no, someone said they are in church for funeral.... Who's that gonna be🤧🤧
They might be praying for someone dead, maybe. But Koreans don't hold funerals in church, they have dedicated funeral halls for that.

Boon Ok has shown pretty solid character growth past few episodes. But the writing may feel that it is necessary…
I'm yet to see her act any different from before, apart from taking a shine to one of the spies.

His birth name was probably Soohyeok, the name they mentioned, but changed it when the politician guy adopted him?

lol didn't notice that MDL has Ri instead of Rim, the edit must have been submitted by a CLOY fan xD

Also, Lim Soo ho is very slow and foolish. Considering the line of his work, he shouldn't have allowed any form…
Shooting one's superior in any armed forces is mutiny and usually punishable by death.

Hot tempered guy has severe emotion control issues and should never have been allowed out in the field. His stupid anger fits endanger the mission.

He is 27 but in Korean age, internationally that is 26 years old. He was born in 1961, well after the Korean war.
