Thanks for writing this article! I dropped IOTNBO because I couldn't stomach the glorification of toxic behavior and the disrespect towards mental health workers...
Isn't Sisyphus on the Wed-Thu time slot? Beyond Evil is on the Fri-Sat time slot for those months.
The May 28 date was never official anyway, just something that circulated the web a while ago... but it makes sense to not update until later, because there could be still schedule changes. Sometimes dramas are delayed for events like an important game (not sure how sports are going on in SK during these days). I think we probably won't have a confirmed premier date until April or so...

Do you know anything about Beyond Evil, is it still shooting or pre-produced? At least Undercover filming is completed already, so there won't be delays because the staff must quarantine due to a COVID case or something like that.
'miserable' is a translation and the original Korean word might have different feel? Like some people were angry…
Translation is really hard because sometimes a word just doesn't have a suitable match in the other language... I admire people who do it as a job, I often have difficulty finding the right word in my native language for an English word or expression, because there just isn't any that has all the baggage of the original
How does the device work? I'm only on ep 4 and a little lost
it brings together all the possible data of a person ever (think if google, facebook and amazon put together all they know about you, they could make some pretty accurate predictions) and uses that, plus a touch of kdrama fairy dust, to recreate the personality.
For all purposes, it's best to think of it as a small magic box that needs a specific trigger to come alive...
I'm on episode 2 and I've to say I love Hae In dramas so much, it feels just right to my taste, slow, natural,…
'miserable' is a translation and the original Korean word might have different feel? Like some people were angry because Hawon's words were first translated as "call me WHEN you become unhappy" while the original meaning was not when, but IF - he didn't say she will become unhappy in her marriage, he said he would be there for her in case she needs him... There will be more revealed about their relationship and Jisoo's reasons in the following episodes.
I dropped IOTNBO after episode 5, but by that time I could already tell what the great twist would be. It is interesting though how some defended the show saying it was character driven, when this kind of nonsense plot twist never happens in a character driven show, it is straight from the makjang playbook...
Guys does this drama have any vibes like something in the rain ?
Not at all. The age difference here is minimal, not even a true noona romance. The ML is creepy. The whole episode 1 is a jumble of mismatched pieces. Camerawork and music are overbearing, playing up a romance that does not yet exist. It could not be more different from the subtlety of SITR.
Holy moly, on episode 11 now. Although glad that the mother now stands up for Seo In i couldnt imagine having…
Scumbag husband gives up in the end, so she and her baby will be able to start with a clean slate, and they will have her family's support. Sure it would have been nicer to see the guy behind bars, but... this is a realistic series.

Divorce and single parenthood still carries a heavy stigma in South Korea, it means she would need to quit her job and become a social outcast (just like the male lead, only worse because women are judged more harshly). So it is not a step to take lightly...
What things do people don't like in this drama? No, not being a snob, honestly curious. I kind of really like…
This is a very realistic tale with flawed characters and their imperfect relationship, not a fluffy sentimental romance. Also the slower pace and character driven storytelling is a turnoff for many people.
does si hoon, seo in's ex husband, end up NOT getting parental rights? or does he still have them?
No, in the end he chooses to give up those rights, in exchange for not going to court for domestic abuse. I doubt he every cared for the baby anyway, for him it was just another tool to keep his wife under control
Loool, this tv show is exactly like One Spring Night. Or should I say it's the other way around. Idk, gives me…
These two shows are like two sides of the coin: both offer a realistic look into life in today's Korea; SitR asking what love really means, OSN asking about marriage/long term relationships. And while the vibe is similar, the two couples couldn't be more different.
Depends on your mileage - at the beginning, the FL is in a relationship that is pretty much DOA already. So when she starts falling for ML, it can be considered emotional cheating.
was it in the car during the snowstorm? If so then damn. Shouldn't there have been a funeral or something at least?…
There was no funeral onsceeen, but when her husband returned to Seoul, he said on the phone that he let her rest in Norway because it was her favorite place.
