Yes, regarding the sister. The personal maid Mingzhu has is making it worse. Maids of the mansion gossiping. Also in ep 33 the girl trying to manipulate. But this is just some blending of family arguments/squabbles that need to be overcome.

Agreed. As i wrote alittle down, Duke is part of the problem. I hope he realize what hes doing soon. Yining atleast tried to lessen it by asking if any things had been sent to Mingzhu and had things sent to her.

I'm catching up with the last few episodes and besides loving the leads being cute, I was disgusted and shocked…
I know hes an extremely loving and doting father towards Yining. But the conflicts, especially with Mingzhu is kinda his fault. People are scheming on her insecurities. He wants to make up for lost time, but the blatant favoritism annoy me. Mingzhu is pretty much ignored by the Duke.
If i was her i would also be hurt.

LJX is a psycho, hes just getting worse and worse.

Honestly, aslong as Mingzhu doesn't get worse, i really sympatize with her. People of Duke Ying mansion is talking behind her back. She gets ignored. Duke Ying even rejected the gift for Yining. Duke Ying is excited i understand, but he doesn't need to neglect her that badly. She does everything to try to win his approval. Ofcourse she did some bad choices aswell with talking bad about Yining.

Since i only heard about her from novel spoilers, my only opinion is from watching the drama.
