So narrow-minded imo. Ren Min has a very soft voice in my opinion. I see no problem with that. Atleast it's a natural voice and not fake like they try to do in some dramas. But i guess since i'm used to Esther Yu's voice, Ren Min's voice doesn't bother me one bit. Also i think her voice fit her character.

Yeah, from what i heard it was based on Song Dynasty. Which would make sense, since it's a family of scholars and how ML status will rise later. Since scholars were regarded extra highly during Song.

I do remember seeing it. But having trouble finding the photo now. Would make sense. I haven't read the novel myself but read spoilers. I was alittle suspicious about the military looking man. Hoping it gets exposed in early 20s. Would be nice to have atleast the last 10 eps of them married.

I'm so excited for S2 that will air next year. I was amazed how good this one was when i first watched it. Easily rivaling some bigger dramas like Story of Minglan and Yanxi Palace for me. It still has 8.0 in rating on douban which is insanely good. Gonna start rewatching it for the 3rd time today or tomorrow ^^
