I haven't read the novel. I heard both ML and SML are major red flags though. Maybe i will pick up the novel some day in the future. But ML seems to be even more sick in the head in the novel. But doesn't help that i heard that SML kidnaps FL while she is pregnant.

I only feel that hes an obsessed lunatic. Even if FL knows he was not behind her "death", Their relationship would never go back to the past. He has shown to her what a scumbag he really is. All Yining feels for him now and in the future is fear and disgust.

Someone mentioned a trailer on twitter with Wei Ling grieving or something like that and some pendant and him possibly beating LSY. So maybe she will be presumed dead shortly around the time the reunion happens. Don't know how much of it is true though. But it wouldn't surprise me if Lu Jiaxue kidnaps Yining.

From the spoiler i saw, he had already found out. Tells her to be with him rather forcefully but i think she says she likes LSY and hes not happy. Since they making him a villain, he will be even more crazily obsessed. He has made all the wrong moves from the beginning.
