Tbh i dont like any of the guys in the novel. They are all red flags. All of them tried to force themselves on…
yeah, that topic is banned in china. The only way in some dramas they worked around it, for example "Joy of Life" is that they made the whole story a novel. Same with Story of Kunning Palace
There is several drama with popular casts released recently in china, but this drama beat all of them by significant…
Its pretty normal. Most dramas start with 2 eps a day first week. Then its split between 1 and 2 eps. Maybe it's to get higher amount of watchers during the dramas airtime.
if HIS dad killed HER mom that would be super bad.
Seems like a pretty big change compared to novel, but i wouldn't be surprised. It's always the old ones that know how to hide themselves. It would make the heartbreak even worse since Yining likes her grandmother.
The dad seems kinda dumb like Story of Minglan FL dad. Would surprise me if he was behind it.
Well ofc they got to water down shenyuan because the novel version of him married a 15 year old girl.... plus…
yeah, i read the extras just before i started. Like the son was transferred to a separate courtyard at the age of 3. Were barely allowed alone time with FL. He ended up growing up distant and emotionally unattached to FL aswell. From reading, both ML and FL failed him. Seems like they going it entirely different here. Also ML was like jealous whenever their son got too close to FL. I find that kind of thing so wierd. Extra much in regard to how ML grew up.
Hopefully when their son is born, he is different compared to novel.
This is also one change i loved in Story of Minglan. ML there treated his concubine daughter horribly, while he loved her in the drama.
