I fully agree with this comment on Dramabeans: "I wish they'd shown us something that justified such a reputation." Out of the blue they said Hee Jae is known as "Minister in a dress". (Ep 5) How & what has she done to deserve that kind of title/complement? It's so NOT convincing at all :( It's also true that she doesn't have the charisma shown by Madame Seo.
Why do the sageuk writers always have to insert an annoying FL who gets supported by everyone, who can slap people…
Yeah she's annoying. She slap Sun Ho :( what gives her the right to do that?! & honestly the lack of acting skill is really obvious when she was next to Jang Hyuk 🤨 not in sync at all :(
Just finished this. It is indeed the longest day in Chang'an. Some parts are exciting and keeps you guessing and…
Yes, it'd be better if the annoying couple Yuan Zai & Yun Xiu had lesser screen time. & after causing so much trouble, they didn't receive any repercussions at the end of this drama. I guess b'cos they want to keep it in line w/ the history.
Me too, I've liked KDW for a long time...Choi Hee Chul the extra cute Pepper Boy :D. Him & Kim Ha Neul had…
He was the "pepper boy" in Too Beautiful to Lie. His character's name: Choi Hee Chul :) That was a fun rom-com. KDW also sang w/ his own voice in that movie.
Too Beautiful To Lie was one of the first Kmovie i watched about 10 years back and i had a huge crush on him then...…
Me too, I've liked KDW for a long time... Choi Hee Chul the extra cute Pepper Boy :D. Him & Kim Ha Neul had excellent chemistry. In Korea he's an A-listed film actor, idol of other celebs like Jun Ji Hyun & KIm Go Eun. Edit: oops it's Park So Dam who said she had a crush on KDW :) I tend to confuse btw Park So Dam & Kim Go Eun :D

A beautiful & touching movie indeed. Love the relationship between Papa Suleyman & lil Ayla. And most of the Turkish soldiers loved Ayla too. Smth very special when Ayla started learning to speak Turkish, deepening the bond btw them. Great acting by Ismail, Cetin & young Kim Seol.

I'm rewatching this movie.They r hilarious trying to hide the lil girl :D & she's v. cute.
& then they make us cry 😢 so much.. Ryu Seung Ryong's acting is excellent, the lil Ye Seung is v. cute & endearing. I also like the friendship among his cell mates. Jung Jin Young also stood out as the prison warden.
It’s 2025 now…. And hope that things have changed for the better this type of injustice.. For this subject…
Yeah... they didn't show any consequence on that police chief after the court trial. The trial just cleared Lee Yong Gu's name, that's all, a bit pointless I'd say.. An innocent man has died :( Park Shin Hye's acting is rather weak while the lil Ye Seung is v. endearing.
It's good that his lawyer has filed a criminal complaint against Dispatch. The tabloid claimed that he committed SA (30 yrs ago) but that's not true, it's a lie/rumor. But it's puzzling how people keep judging & posting hate comments as if he's done it :(
It was good but the ending was underwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the FL or the pro bono team, they are very unrealistic…
i feel the same re. the pro bono team. They doubted him everytime there's a slight deviation from David, they have never shown trust. And they have never apologized for their overall lack of trust, for going against him as a team. Yes, for his sake it's better to go back being a judge. But the writer wants him to be idealistic & more involved directly w/ the victims of injustice & may be to set up for 2nd season, idk. It's quite unrealistic to expect steady income from class actions, & how to pay the wages of those 4 self-righteous idealists?

Poor Kang Woo has to make himself look older :P
