What purpose is there to give him so much screen time :( He is a character without principle & in these last few epi.s his screen time has far exceeded Xiao Wu Yang's total screen time in 21 episodes. The way this director allocate screen time to the casts is quite strange, I'd say.

well in Ep 17 it seems that Zhang Mo's father made peace w/ XWJ. But realistically speaking, is that a closure for the father? It's not. His real son has died, and the murderer is walking around with his son's face. How can he say 'goodbye' to his son in his heart when someone else is walking around using his son's identity? I hope you understand my point.
Someone in a discussion mentioned that Huai An let Xiao Wen Jing meet w/ Zhang Mo's father to give the father some closure. Is a closure possible when the murderer keeps wearing his son's face? For the sake of Zhang Mo's father, if XWJ becomes the emperor again, I hope he'll take off the mask. Well, logically he should haha... otherwise the ppl at the palace will not acknowledge him.

Perhaps they r trying to cater to the younger audience too much hence increasing the screen time of the young casts. If they utilize the veteran actors (Wang Jin Song, Liu Yi Jun) well, b'cos they are character actors, it'll actually increase the quality of the drama, imo.
