Even though the world is peaceful, i hope she never gets her wish of being with Master Puzhu. I had high hopes…
it felt like we've been deceived. We thought that she'd turn a new leaf after Puzhu saved her & showed her kindness. But it's like she had heart of stone ๐
I agree some characters didnโt deserve their ending. But if time is turned back, it means they never committed…
well the way Xifang Tao looked at Puzhu seductively at the end, at her age & w/ her capability, I doubt that she hasn't done anything bad to anybody lol... Attitude & personality matters, I think :)
I like Underthestars' review. It's true that Xifang Tao 'didn't show an ounce of regret' after doing all the bad deeds. When the show talks about forgiveness, it's much easier to forgive smbd if he/she showed some regret or feel bad about it. But when there's no remorse whatsoever, it's really hard (on the victims)... well this is just my opinion.
(I've only finished ep 38)So... I'm not sure how much this has been discussed. Is there anyone here who mentioned…
Yes, he is self-righteous, naive & irresponsible. I don't like both of them. Xifang Tao was just selfish & wicked, it's good as Megumi said there's no redemption arc for her. Btw, we talked abt this 2 days ago (Enigma's comment) :) Overall it just feels that the last several episodes r too rushed ie. the pacing of this drama isn't v. good, they didn't focus on the main plot earlier.
Yeah, I also think it's quite irresponsible of him (Puzhu) to leave after introducing her to the Swords Sect.…
i've watched 18min of it & it's too much nonsense for me. Sorry, & you don't have to recommend anything to me. Ty 4 trying. I have other dramas to watch, don't worry abt it :)

no i don't like blood river. I like the dramas w/ serious & mature plot, not necessarily dark, i prefer that they don't focus on romance. Just too old for that i guess lol. Usu i don't watch xianxia, i much prefer the old fashioned wuxia/martial arts. Anyway, have a nice day..

well yeah... nowadays cdramas r like that, the plots r often filled w/ lots of stupid characters. It's so hard for me to find the well written cdramas like The Longest Day in Chang'an, Luoyang, The Ingenious One etc.
As I'm watching this drama, the name of Di Ren Jie's master is Wei Wuji - played by actor Zhang Jia Yi. But why here at MDL, the character is called Zhang Sun Qing (guest role)? Edit: MDL cast list is incorrect. ML's master's name is Wei Wuji, played by Zhang Jia Yi. Another veteran actor Zhang Xi Lin plays Zhangsun Qing (Grand Commandant). Info from DramaWiki.

That's very foolish & reckless of him. Ah stupid Puzhu :(
Farewell dear Chi Yun.. ๐ข
