Although lengthy, this drama was excellent. 1st lead role for KMM & he did great.

Yes, I also dislike her v. much. The way she curtsies, all her mannerisms just indicate that we can't trust her. Just like in Wuxin (her previous drama) she's very good acting as a villainess.

I've watched up to ep 33 & he hasn't found out abt A Shei being Fang Zhou's sister. He's from Rendi Realm, kinda immortal being that can heal themselves. He's different from Ye Mo (also acted by LYX) who has gone astray & much more manipulative.
I think it's better not to use capital letter for god although it's a fiction, some ppl might find it blasphemous. Hope you don't mind me speaking frankly.

Yes, I like Bao Shang En's acting in this drama, it's my first time seeing her. I usually lean more to the non-idol non-romance focused dramas like The Longest Day in Chang'an.

Agreed. The writer is not being consistent w/ Chunji's character. It's not believable that she turned bad just like that.

Yes, I think the writing for TTEOTM is much better & more focused. The writing of Ashes of Love was even better than this one, eventhough I didn't finish it. This one is kinda all over the place.

I wonder whether her hurting Tang Lici was written in the novel? Yeah it's unpleasant that she becomes this way.

We haven't seen Zhong Chun Ji in the last 4 episodes (Ep 15-18), kind of miss her. I thought it's cute when her master taught her how to vent her anger. Wondering where did she go after being temporarily "dismissed"?

The story in episode 8 is just too dark for me. It's disappointing, I'll drop this drama.

Totally agreed. The 8 feet ghost had killed his beloved Queen, the unborn child, & many previous kings/princes in the last 100 years. He doesn't deserve the 2nd apology from the king at all, I think.
It seems that the writer forced "the victim card" too much.

Since Ep 3 the subtitles' quality has got worse, lots of mistakes. May be I'll wait till we have some better subs.
