This has been my first full-on hate-watch since "Bad Buddy." But this last episode, which ended a cringe-fest series with a super-duper, cringe-fest finale, actually moved me to tears a few times: The parents blessing Toh and Nuea's relationship. Nuea giving up the booty to Toh and in the process becoming my BL Top Hero of all time. The times Nuea looks at Toh being a complete nerdball doofus and you can see in his eyes/face that he adores him for those very qualitiies. i mean, I actually believed that at times, which is a tribute to Billy's acting talents. The ending scene, where I felt Toh's amazement that he was actually loved and cherished by THIS PERSON for sure, but even more so his feeling worthy of that affection. At that moment I thought "well, maybe Nuea really WON'T have to spend the rest of his life reassuring this insecure person. (Had Nuea been keeping mementos like Toh, or did he just have everything organized into light-boxes and such? I wasn't' aware Toh had been stealing bar signs and stuff.)
I got tired of the thing where "the gang" was always gathering in the background to watch/snoop on someone elses' private moments. Grew bored with Sky/Jao and FF thru most of those scenes. I felt like the second half was a lot of filler. Totally don't buy dai-Zee with InTouch, but mostly because there was ZERO motivation or development of that relationship so I'm like "why...?" Also confusing when InTouch told a trans woman dressed as a man that he wanted to be his "wife" which would actually make them gay again...or something. :) Since when was Som and that other dude in a relationship? I know it was hinted at, but more because the parents were pretty much blessing everyone so why not the two left-overs?
Yes i was thinking about that too. Wasn't the chief bodyguard's car right behind them all the while? KP could…
The cutting off the hand scene was a little weird for me: It seemed to go from a light-hearted joke to dead-serious proposal without any transition at all. And how you would do one quick slice through bone with an old knife you found in the back of a rusty truck is beyond me. lol It's a sign of the quality of this show however, that we are finding fault with little things like this, which means most of the BIG things are covered.
I need someone to explain to me how they got their shirts on and off without cutting them?
lol Typically, this is the kind of thing I would bitch about. But so many OTHER little implausibles going on that I missed this one. Oh well...cute ep, I don't care.

Now about the gray scene, Porsche's words show that it was a dub-con, not r@pe. If it was that, Porsche wouldn't…
Totally agree. Porsche was completely instigating the sex, even if he was high. Kinn even tried to restrain himself then. But Porsche kept pushing. I don't see being drunk or high as absolving you of your choices, Porsche's choice being to seduce Kinn.
Fun/silly/romantic episode, although as an audience member I have LOTS of notes to give the director. :) There are just so many little ways I always see in which these kinds of things could be made much more realistic and believable, and it's like for some reason these BL directors don't see them. I mean, my god, you've got a huge budget for this one but you've got to cover all the basics too.
Anyway...nit-picking aside, the development of their relationship was lovely and there were a lot of humorous, sweet and funny moments. They even made me cry near the end when Porsche ran back and gave Kinn THE big kiss...but it wasn't even just that, it was when Porsche wrapped his arms around Kinn while they were kissing as though he were taking him into himself and never letting go. That was beautiful: Tear ducts on HIGH setting.
Dumbest thing was how the hell did they disappear from the truck in the first place, where they were in last week's shoot-em-up at the end and had seem to beaten everyone in the truck to a pulp? Why in hell did they go running off into the forest? lol wtf?
The two of them in the water together was sexy and adorable. Highly unrealistic that they would have left their panties on. Please. Kinn's apology for the sex was touching. I find Mile to be the superior of the two actors. He does lots of subtle things with his eyes, face and head that bring his words, thoughts, feelings to life. In short, he takes his TIME with line delivery. But Apo is good and their chem is great. I want to see a full-on, butt-fucking sex scene!🤪🤪🤪
I just watched this for a second time. It was already in my top ten gay-themed films and it just moved up to the…
ummm..."good box office number" sort of means lots of people enjoying it via word of mouth. Anyway, I'm not here to force you to like it of course, I was just put off by the insulting tone of your comment. You know, for me, and I WANTED to like it more on my second watch, I was more annoyed by the earlier "ending" in which, after Birdy goes hot-cold/hot-cold/hot-cold yet again after showing up at Jia Han's parents' place and then following him all the way to the ocean for those wonderful beach scenes, and JH tells us in narration that Birdy will take the college entrance exams, we then get "and we never saw each other again." It hit me like another one of those BL, cheap-shot, tragic endings out of left field, thrown in last-second just because they could. I hate that kind of shit. I dropped my rating from 9/10 to 8.5/10 because of that. It just pisses me off when the gays don't end up together for...no reason at all.
However you feel about the ending in Quebec though, you HAVE to give the movie props for the very-last scene of the young versions of the two lovers tossing the ball and cavorting around that big phallus of a monument there in Quebec City or wherever they were. 😁
Please, save your time. Buy the photo book or watch the MV instead. This has... what exactly? A couple (sort of)…
I just watched this for a second time. It was already in my top ten gay-themed films and it just moved up to the top five. There's a lot of snottiness in your comment. I don't know what your real issues are that would lead you to such opinions of a beautiful, moving, deeply textured film that thankfully, millions of other people have avoided whatever's hindering your enjoyment of it to experience their own. I love this movie deeply.
Whichever of the birds you're snarking about was perfectly fine. I'm like "wth is this person complaining about?" "ad for Quebec?" "gay porn?"
Tommy has a new coat, huh? Also, the kiss from episode 5 was the weirdest thing ever. When did they get so close?…
EVERYTHING you wrote. I feel so bad for HGC. He deserves far better than this. Why isn't he getting better roles? Also, I don't buy them as a couple for a minute. As you mentioned a few of, there are so many little strange things going on in this show it's impossible to list them all. Was it me or did they show HGC running out of the restaurant, shutting the door in customers' faces AGAIN, to go look for Holland TWICE?

I saw the kiss in the water as Kin stopping, not Porsche. He felt guilty for when he did the nasty with Porsche while he was drugged.

Your loss.
