This was a cute series. Both of the main leads fit the "cute" criteria pretty well, and tbh I thought the romance was done well enough. The mystery on the other hand... well, it was a complete mess. Tbh I didn't even realize when they switched main villains; I honestly thought they'd bring the old guy back to life somehow, and when I got to ep16, I was like "wait, he's actually dead? For real?". And since everyone else has already stressed how absolutely frustrating it was to watch the leads constantly make the dumbest decisions ever, I'm not even gonna get into that. Nevertheless, I gave it a 7.5 because I honestly really enjoyed the humour and romance, and the lack of a (serious) love triangle was highly appreciated. It's a pretty fun series to watch if you don't take it seriously, and it does have it's fair share of plot twist that really catch you off guard, so that was something to look forward to xD
Isn't it open-ended? I haven't watched the movie, but in the manga they leave it up to your interpretation, though most believe it's highly likely he dies, but others (like me) still cling to the hope of there being a miracle. Or is the ending unlike the manga?
I'm really interested in starting S2, but I haven't seen S1 yet. My question is, do I have to watch this season…
You can watched S2 without S1, but then you might feel a bit left out because they do reference back to S1 quite a bit, and it's technically a sequel so past events in S1 will help you clear up any confusions you'll have starting S2. I initially felt the same way you did, but I'm glad I watched it in order. Haha and I realize this response is quite late, but I just wanted to relay my experience xD
I just started watching s2 (and I finished watching s1 like yesterday) and even if I only watched 6 episodes I…
Ikr, I really hoped there had been a reunion, if only for a little while ;-; I miss S1 already, even though i just finished binging both seasons yesterday >.>
I loved this series so damn much, I can't even form the words to explain it. Honestly, anyone who's into series about medical issues and doctors, as well as romance and a heck ton of character development should give it a go. You might wanna be a bit weary if you're queasy around blood and stuff though, because I'll admit they don't censor it as much as some others do, like Code Blue and the likes (or wait, is that in S2? I binged them so I could be wrong). In any case, hope you enjoy it as much as I did! PS. It starts of slow but gets more interesting as it goes on, in my opinion.
Should I watch this even though I haven't seen the parent story? Or is it advisable to see that first? Are the stories related, or is this a stand alone?
it's my second time rewatching this beautiful drama I still get emotional for itthe only thing I couldn't understand…
umm, no offense but you should probably flag your 2 comments as spoilers. Just so people who haven't seen it don't stumble upon information that they don't know about :)
not to be off putting/rude, but REALLY?!! I read the manga ages ago (not sure I finished it), but why make this…
I know, right? There are so many manga that are far better, and out of all of those they pick this one to adapt? The characters in the manga are shallow and daft, and the plot doesn't seem that well thought out. *sigh*
Does the ending make you cry? Because if it does, then I don't wanna watch it right now. I just finished Star of the Universe and I think my tear buds need a break before I delve into another bittersweet drama xD
I loved the way it ended <3 Nothing felt rushed and although it had cheesy scenes, I think it was still worth it and was very well done for a drama that lasted only 6 episodes. I didn't expect it to bring me to tears though :') Also, the main guy is such a hottie <3
I didn't really like the main guy's character too much. He's a bit of a jerk and too childish for my taste. Then there was the main girl who was much too gullible and daft, and it was acceptable while they were in high school, but then it seemed more annoying than cute to me. I guess it just wasn't really my cup of tea. So I advise you not to watch this unless you're into the whole damsel in distress x10 thing. It's light and fluffy, but if you take it seriously, like I suppose I did, then the characters will just annoy you. :)
