I think its definitely worth your time. I really enjoyed the characters and the plot. There weren't any annoying or stupid misunderstandings that got out of hand, and the main leads did their best to communicate through every problem that arose. It was a healthy and mature relationship that I really appreciated. The 2nd couple gets a bit frustrating near the middle, but I was able to overlook it. I quite enjoyed the side stories too.
Absolutely loved it. Thoroughly enjoyed all the characters and their personalities, except the 2nd ML. He was adorable at first, but later frustrated me to no end. The 2nd FL was great though. The plot was really interesting too. I gave it a really high rewatch value, considering I binged it in 3 days *without* skipping too many scenes (the OT parts were boring, and the police training was a bit repetitive), which is rare when I'm watching a Cdrama. It's quite different from DOTS imo, but I understand where people see the similarities. However, the leads of the two series have completely different personalities, and thats just one of the many differences. I really missed DOTS after completing this though, so I had to rewatch it one more xD
Why FL's acting bother me so much maybe because reading the novel first I have huge expectation toward the drama…
Even though I haven't read the novel, I agree with you. She was really stiff and expressionless at times, even lacking basic minuscule expressions such as raising eyebrows or widening her eyes. That was when her lack of experience was most obvious. However, it wasn't bad enough to ruin the series for me and I was able to overlook it most of the time. The others did a good job at covering for her too, especially Lu Si Cheng.
Her Private Life and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim gave me similar vibes. Maybe even Clean With Passion For…
haha, same here! Nevertheless is *everywhere*, but it's not really my cup of tea x] Also, I just went through your list and thanks for the recommendations. I've been trying to look for some nice Cdramas, so your list is pretty handy xD

Sorry, the only drama I've watched from this year was this one and My Roommate is a Gumiho. That was nice, I quite liked the FL's character, but it's not as light and breezy as this one. I can try to think of some older ones, if you'd like.
I've gotta appreciate how the main leads didn't break up over stupid circumstances and miscommunications. A massive pro on my list. I also enjoyed how there wasn't much of a love triangle. It was so low key that I barely noticed it. Or maybe it's because I was skimming through In Hyung's scenes? It's one or the other xP
Gosh, the second leads smh. Tbh, I skimmed through their parts. Their personalities were too annoying and weak for my liking, and their ending seemed pretty rushed. I quite enjoyed the main leads though, and i found their bickering to be the highlight of each episode. Some people said they hated the FL's personality at first because she was basically a doormat, but I think that was the point. They wanted to show how she slowly gains enough self-confidence to speak up for herself. Both the FL and ML's character development was done well enough, and it was exactly the light-hearted drama I needed after binging a sci-fi series. All in all, I enjoyed it quite a bit. However, if you tend to over-analyse or you're in the mood to do so, I wouldn't recommend this drama. The plot will seem pretty dumb at times, and the characters even more so. It's a light and breezy one, so just don't take it too seriously and you're good to go.
I've just finished this series and it had some of the most ridiculous and stupid scenes that I've seen in asian…
Yeah I really don't understand the appeal of "dead fish" kisses. They make me uncomfortable if anything and I'm left feeling really bad for the other party that often times seem to be putting their heart and soul into that kiss >.> (eg. most kisses in Love 020)
