How are y'all doing after the DeYi scenes on the MV??? I'm so devastated!!!
Well, I was saying earlier I wish for Shu Yi to give Shi De a hard time and that's exactly what will happen. I still wonder if the guy who threw Shu Yi on that sofa really was Shi De. Being so brutal wouldn't fit his character, but then again I also wished for Shi De to be more aggressive. It's interesting how they are both in pain, but they show it differently.
I really can't imagine what would cause Shi De to do that to Shu Yi. If not something Shu Yi's dad did, what could…
I agree with you that Shi De thinks this will not work out. But there must be a reason for it. If they do it like this, there are some flashbacks needed in s2 that show us what exactly what happened and why Shi De would think like this. At the end of s1 they were happy and had a pretty healthy relationship. They really behave like they genuinely like each other and enjoy each other's company and aren't only madly in love for no reason. Shi De suddenly thinking "nah, this won't work out" makes no sense. The dad-theory was debunked, so I wonder what kind of explanation they present us.
Yeah, seriously, I cannot watch him like that. Maybe my reaction is exaggerated, but he looks so ... don't know how to say it in English. Beaten down? Someone said maybe he was a bit drunk. I'm confused that it affects me so much. It's now clear though, that Sam is the real softie of those two.
He was very tired and Yu sensed it. I saw some moments that made me a bit emotional. I haven't watched it all…
It's here with Eng Sub: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYN1lN8b4sQ&t=1354s I didn't watch it to the end. I only made it half-through. Those two are my happy pill, but not today. I'm still confused what kind of problems he may have. Some fans have their theories (I have mine too), but I don't want to go there. The live was unannounced, so he had no obligation to do it.

Seriously, this is a horrible theory. He was in love with Shu Yi for almost a decade. It seems the guy is persistent. It never was a love only based on (physical) attraction.
Ok, so apparently Shi De abandoned Shu Yi and 5 years later Shu Yi's company is trying to acquire Shi De's company?
Our theory was right, wasn't it? Obviously both have still feelings for each other and Shi De did whatever he thought was the right thing to do. I wonder where the author is going with this character. I don't remember where I saw it, I think Sam said it, that Shi De's character "is more in the dark" in s2. I interpreted this as his characters motivations not being clear or something. I seriously hope for some kind of fight, where Shi De is more aggressive. I don't want to see Shu Yi doing all the work like in s1. I don't want to see him confessing and crying. It's now Shi De's turn to take responsibility for whatever he did. And like I said, I like it, that Shu Yi is above Shi De now. Hopefully Shu Yi will not give in too soon.

I like the idea that Shu Yi is now no.1, but knowing the title "Fighting Mr. 2nd" I hope Shi De will grow some balls and not be the sad puppy he was in s1. I have no idea what to expect, though. They said that s2 is so much more intense ...
It was a smart move of them cutting the series in two parts (s1 and s2). In those 4 weeks between the seasons the fanbase has some time to grow. Ep1 of s2 will have many more viewers than ep1 of s1.
There is a list of "Today's Hot Videos" on the website and as far as I know that's some kind of ranking. WBL was on rank #7 at the beginning, then it climbed up and they show it in the header of the main page since then. It's in the top 5 most watched shows for a while now. Hopefully I got this right.
I start to think Yu isn't shy at all. When it comes to acting and showing skinship and intimacy he doesn't hold back. He is rather laid-back. He is soft and calm, yes, but not really shy. He seems so awkward and tense, because he is afraid of not understanding. It seems to me that he knows the everyday-talk-Madarin, but if the phrasing is a bit more complex (like in some interview questions), and if many people talk at the same time, he doesn't get it and tries to hide it as best as possible. The cute show where they kissed those transparent cards is a good example. They played that question game, and he was very slow. I'm pretty sure he didn't fully understand most of those questions and just guessed something. Since I noticed it, I cannot unsee it. When he spaces out or takes his time for answering I'm pretty sure it is because of a lack of understanding.
