May I ask if this drama only has 6 eps? I reallyyyyy loved it. The acting was outstanding. This series deserves…

I love this so much! His voice is so beautiful!
"He seems to express himself better through art than through words." I'm not sure about that. I liked how he phrased some things in the live when he talked about the series and the characters. I'm pretty sure he is able to express himself in Japanese even better. I know he lives in Taiwan now. It's strange to me that he doesn't do more stuff in Japanese. It would be much easier for him for sure.

Not only the hug but their cute English made my heart melt! I know it's Sunday but I wonder if they're going to…
They did! <3

That is definitely an interesting take on it and I appreciate this theory. I don't think Shi De lost interest…
I agree with you that Shi De thought he had no chance with Shu Yi, but that alone tells us a lot about his character. I know many think he is so sweet, considerate and his love for Shu Yi so pure. While I really appreciate that he doesn’t force himself on Shu Yi (unfortunately that happens a lot in BL), he is a coward who constantly tries to avoid difficult situations and thinks he knows it all, especially when it comes to Shu Yi. He makes decisions of his own without taking into consideration Shu Yi’s feelings.

I remember how Shu Yi’s friends said in Ep1: „You’re good friends. You know each other for a long time.“ Despite being rivals, they seemed very close to me. I wonder why Shi De was always so sure he had no chance to begin with. I think it has more to do with his personality than with Shu Yi’s sexuality. He keeps things for himself, comes to a conclusion and then makes decisions.

Why did he avoid Shu Yi after the truth came out? To be fair, Shu Yi was the first one to avoid him when he looked for a girlfriend. But later on it was clear, that Shu Yi didn’t want to end this relationship. But Shi De just run away. You can argue he did it because he was hurt. But the guy is lovelorn for almost a decade now. He didn’t expect anything to begin with and just wanted to be friends. He just decided that it would be best (for Shu Yi) if they don’t meet each other again. Or why didn’t he tell him that he would go to America? He tried to avoid that conversation as long as possible. I know where Shu Yi is coming, when he said: „You don’t have any respect for me.“

If my theory about s2 and the father is right, it would fit Shi De’s character perfectly. Again he makes a decision without talking to Shu Yi while at the same time thinking his doing is in Shu Yi’s best interest. I really wish for a fight between them and Shu Yi screaming at him: „You don’t care about my feelings at all.“ Because that’s how Shu Yi must feel, even though we all know that Shi De cares a lot and just wants to do the right thing.

I love this so much! His voice is so beautiful!
I wonder what kind of music he really likes. If he wants to be successful, he has to do mainstream. I don't want to hate on mainstream stuff, but as an artist, it's a struggle. I'm a book author and once another author told me: "I can't always write the stories I love, I have to make money too!" That describes the whole situation perfectly.

Yu seems pretty mysterious, sensitive and introvert. I think there are a lot of deep thoughts in his beautiful head. Hopefully he is lucky and the songs and music he likes are also the songs and music most people enjoy.

There is something so soft and real about those two ... The love scenes will kill us for sure
I will be happy with whatever they show us. I love the acting, the chemistry, how the characters are written (I have a crush on Shu Yi!), so everything is fine. Wasn't expecting those kisses either.

This is really the first BL I ever watched where everything is good and exciting. I have zero complaints. The BL goods are saving 2021.

Woah! >3 Fans being creative ... ;D

S2 didn't even air, but I know for sure I will watch their love scenes over and over again ;P Seriously, I wonder how much they will show us. When they talk about love scenes in interviews it sounds like there is a lot to come. Since they didn't hold back with the kissing scenes in s1 and s1 is supposed to be more innocent ... hmmm. If those two are going all in, the internet will break!

I like the song a lot. I don't really like Aqua Blue. Those cheesy pop songs aren't my cup of tea. For me they all sound the same. But this one is very nice <3 His deeper voice is beautiful.

Who is pursuing who? Haha! I feel like most people think Shi De was pursuing Shu Yi, which is somehow right. But he was never proactive, he never stood up for his feelings. At the end it was Shu Yi who initiated all the kisses, who told him in his face that he loves him. Shi De wasn't even able to do that! He was whispering it in his ear when he thought Shu Yi was asleep! I wish for Shi De to be more straight-forward, not always suffering in silent and waiting for his love to became miraculously a reality some day. In the scenario I described, I hope Shi De understands that it was a mistake leaving Shu Yi, and he will fight to get him back. And not like he did in s1, where he behaved like a sneaky coward with all those tricks and pranks.

Honestly, I believe it's rather simple. Shu Yi comes from a rich family. He is supposed to be with a woman and having children to pass on the business. Shi De was pressured by Shu Yi's rich and influential father to leave his son alone and Shi De would do that for the sake of Shu Yi. He was always willing to sacrifice his happiness for Shu Yi. I guess he just broke up with him, never came back and that's why Shu Yi is angry. What I like about that theory: Shu Yi won't trust Shi De anymore. That creates some nice tension and can make s2 very interesting. Despite Shu Yi officially hating Shi De in s1, they were always very close. I can imagine in s2 Shu Yi will keep his distance and Shi De has to be more active and try to win him over a second time. Or they just repeat s1, where Shu Yi learns the truth and than pursues Shi De, which I hope won't happen. Vice versa would be better. It would change the dynamics between those two.

Yup... Taiwanese and Chinese BL are still my favourite! That kissing scene..... Yaaaas
Can you imagine their love scenes in s2? Because I can't ;P

I saw that too. I think it's a mix of the language and being shy and introverted around other people in general.…
I think it has a lot to do with Taiwanese/Chinese culture. I have seen people commenting on his accent and being confused by it. Apparently not being able to talk perfectly in Mandarin is a crime. Or they are confused why he occasionally talks in Japanese as if they have never seen someone switch between languages. It seems that many Asians and Americans aren't used to bilingual people. I live in a small European country with a complex history. We have three official languages. If you also count English, which many learn at school, we have 4 languages. And if you only speak one or two of them, you always have your hands and feet to communicate, haha! I was never shy about not understanding.

Same! They should at least release the trailer for s2, but I guess there is none? There wasn't even one for s1.…
How stupid am I ? There were many trailers /teasers for s1 and I watched them all.

Okay, now I finally watched the live Yu did in Japanese. He seems so normal, haha. Not shy, awkward and tense how we know him from interviews. Poor baby seems to be under a lot of pressure to keep up with the language he is not so familiar with.

Someone tell me how am I going to cope with a Friday without Shu Yi and Shi De?? I hope at least we have some…
Same! They should at least release the trailer for s2, but I guess there is none? There wasn't even one for s1. At least I didn't see one. We don't even know when the special episodes will air. The advertising is rather disappointing. Compare that with GMMTV where we get trailers even a year before the series airs.
