I think Shu Yi's father did something. It wasn't by accident that they showed that scene with his father. I think…
They were rushing through everything, but it was still great. I was giggling the whole time. They are believable as a couple and extremely cute. I love their hugs! And that kiss ... well ... I wonder how often I will replay it in the next days ;P

I enjoyed 5 episodes a lot. But 6th episode doesn't felt like an actual episode. Writing was so clumsy and it…
I felt like the story was over with the end of Ep 5. This was like some kind of special episode, and I'm not mad about it. Who doesn't like seeing them being cute to each other. They rushed through everything, though. And now we are suddenly in the adult world.

Now that I think about it: There is an explanation and this would fit Shi De's character perfectly.
"I think ShiDe is also the kind of guy who would think it's better for ShuYi's future if they're apart." Yeah, that's it. Fits perfectly his character.

Okaaaaay ... I have mixed feeling about the last episode. Too many things happened in a very short amount of time. Despite that it felt more like a filler than an actual episode. It was rather confusing and hard to follow. The whole episode didn't flow right. Only the great acting saved it. I must admit I was very worried, that those two would be awkward when they are finally together. They aren't. The chemistry is good. Kissing or embracing - everything looks nice and not awkward at all. Sam and Yu are really great, and they didn't disappoint. But now I start to get worried about the writing. The last episode was messy, and I wonder what kind of explanation the writer has for the time skip. Because at the moment it makes ZERO sense. It seems to go against Shi De's personality. But we will see in s2.

where to watch when this airs?
On WeTV. VIP only costs around 7$ per month. If you don't want to pay, then at least come back when they release the new episode for free in a week. Until then you will find it on Dailymotion, YouTube, dramacool etc.

i'm curious... is there a difference between VIP and non-VIP accounts when watching WBL on WeTV? Like cut scenes…
I have VIP. You will get the new episode a week earlier. That's the only difference I can see. There are BTS scenes, but they release them on Instagram and afterwards on WeTV.

I feel like if YU would tell Sam he likes him, Sam would think about that for a looooong time. But YU won't say…
Yeah, they are really a match made in heaven. I'm still surprised that they have such great chemistry. They are just tooo different.
"I think Yu craves for Sam's approval." I'm not sure about that. Yu seems very shy, but I feel he has a strong will. From the very beginning I was fascinated by this discrepancy. He has some clear boundaries and I don't think he would allow people to mess with him. He doesn't seem to be the type to follow others around in private. It's just that he doesn't feel at ease doing interviews and shows.

Haha! I feel like Sam is genuinely attracted to Yu's vulnerability and softness. He wants to know what Yu thinks, and he wants Yu to talk more and tell the world about his thoughts. So if Yu would say "I like you" ... well, Sam wouldn't brush it off. I can imagine him having trouble sleeping for a while. I don't feel the same attraction from Yu towards Sam, but Yu is harder to read.

I was about to stop you when you mentioned 2gether for a second there before I finished reading your sentence…
"I wouldn't wish for Sam or YU to be signed to GMM spare them" LMAO
I have to agree. How they milked the Bright&Win couple ... unbelievable.

This is a complicated topic, really ... Chinese people prefer the very toxic stories like Addicted/Heroin or Untamed…
You did nothing wrong. Those were just my 2 cents and not an in-depth analysis of the BL world. Everyone may see it differently.

I'm not sure about most of you. But, for me, I'm beginning to like the Taiwanese, South Korean, and Chinese BLs…
This is a complicated topic, really ... Chinese people prefer the very toxic stories like Addicted/Heroin or Untamed (I read the novel, I'm not digging that love story). Thai people too (TharnType, LBC etc.). I feel like Korea is the only one who doesn't provide much toxicity (well, I don't know about Color Rush), but they use other cliches like loan sharks, mafia, idols etc. Japan is very known for the stereotypical top/bottom roles. I read countless Yaoi/Shounen Ai manga to know that. They are all different and then again the same. I guess there is something for everyone. What I love about Taiwan BL is mostly the lack of toxicity, the rawness and the very good and natural acting.

I remember how Trump was congratulating the new (first female) president of Taiwan and the media and politics went crazy because it was considered as an insult to China acknowledging the president of Taiwan.
