Okaaaaay ... I have mixed feeling about the last episode. Too many things happened in a very short amount of time. Despite that it felt more like a filler than an actual episode. It was rather confusing and hard to follow. The whole episode didn't flow right. Only the great acting saved it. I must admit I was very worried, that those two would be awkward when they are finally together. They aren't. The chemistry is good. Kissing or embracing - everything looks nice and not awkward at all. Sam and Yu are really great, and they didn't disappoint. But now I start to get worried about the writing. The last episode was messy, and I wonder what kind of explanation the writer has for the time skip. Because at the moment it makes ZERO sense. It seems to go against Shi De's personality. But we will see in s2.
On WeTV. VIP only costs around 7$ per month. If you don't want to pay, then at least come back when they release the new episode for free in a week. Until then you will find it on Dailymotion, YouTube, dramacool etc.
i'm curious... is there a difference between VIP and non-VIP accounts when watching WBL on WeTV? Like cut scenes…
I have VIP. You will get the new episode a week earlier. That's the only difference I can see. There are BTS scenes, but they release them on Instagram and afterwards on WeTV.
I feel like if YU would tell Sam he likes him, Sam would think about that for a looooong time. But YU won't say…
Yeah, they are really a match made in heaven. I'm still surprised that they have such great chemistry. They are just tooo different. "I think Yu craves for Sam's approval." I'm not sure about that. Yu seems very shy, but I feel he has a strong will. From the very beginning I was fascinated by this discrepancy. He has some clear boundaries and I don't think he would allow people to mess with him. He doesn't seem to be the type to follow others around in private. It's just that he doesn't feel at ease doing interviews and shows.

Haha! I feel like Sam is genuinely attracted to Yu's vulnerability and softness. He wants to know what Yu thinks, and he wants Yu to talk more and tell the world about his thoughts. So if Yu would say "I like you" ... well, Sam wouldn't brush it off. I can imagine him having trouble sleeping for a while. I don't feel the same attraction from Yu towards Sam, but Yu is harder to read.
While we get ready to cry, some SamYu videos on twitter to make us smile:https://twitter.com/briwinangel/status/1355635043562090499https://twitter.com/htwdjj/status/1355462217299333121And…

I wonder how big this series would be if it were from GMMTV. It reminds me a lot of 2gether, before it went downhill. It's a light-hearted typical BL and could be huuuge.
I'm not sure about most of you. But, for me, I'm beginning to like the Taiwanese, South Korean, and Chinese BLs…
This is a complicated topic, really ... Chinese people prefer the very toxic stories like Addicted/Heroin or Untamed (I read the novel, I'm not digging that love story). Thai people too (TharnType, LBC etc.). I feel like Korea is the only one who doesn't provide much toxicity (well, I don't know about Color Rush), but they use other cliches like loan sharks, mafia, idols etc. Japan is very known for the stereotypical top/bottom roles. I read countless Yaoi/Shounen Ai manga to know that. They are all different and then again the same. I guess there is something for everyone. What I love about Taiwan BL is mostly the lack of toxicity, the rawness and the very good and natural acting.
I remember how Trump was congratulating the new (first female) president of Taiwan and the media and politics went crazy because it was considered as an insult to China acknowledging the president of Taiwan.
Right! They have such great chemistry and YU is soooooo cute! I did not expect him to be so shy TT Also about…
It was about the scene in Ep 17, when Chris Wu (I don't remember the name of the character) was completely out of it, because of everything he learned about his father. He kissed Jake Hsu in such a desperate way, but fans thought it was too forceful (and well, not romantic enough). The drama was huge. The director even got death threats and deleted the social media account. I remember the cast was posting vids where they were watching the episodes together. After this drama the mood went completely down. You could see how uncomfortable they felt. It seems the fans were satisfied by the last episodes, though. Suddenly everything was forgotten, and international fans seem to love Trapped a lot. But this incident showed the ugly side of the fandom. Enjoy it or don't! People have no right to dictate what they want to see. It was the same with LBC2. This was such a bad show, and I'm very disappointed, but again fans demanded actors should apologize etc. It's crazy. They own us nothing. Give a bad rating and move on. I'm seriously worried that WBL2 will not be to the fans liking. It would be horrible if Sam and Yu get hate for no reason. Nobody deserves the hate, but Sam and Yu are such sweet guys and they work so hard. It would be heart breaking.

What? They got separated? I didn't know that. I didn't follow the actors back then. I was talking about the drama fans created, because they didn't like how the story developed. The first love scene was rather dramatic, and apparently they didn't understand the emotions the characters went through. They blamed the director who had to delete her social media. There was an immense amount of hate and Chris even stood up for the director. It was such a mess and killed the mood. I felt so miserable for the whole cast and the director. From what I have heard s2 of WBL will also be a bit dramatic. The author is good in portraying complex emotions. In the live Sam and Yu explained their characters very well, but I was surprised that fans had so many questions. Again, they didn't understand the characters. There are some people who lack emotional maturity. That's why I'm worried, if s2 will be a success. If there is too much tension and drama going on or if they break up etc. people may hate on it. They prefer the fluffy, very soft and cheesy stuff.
I also watched the latest live. They are sooo cute. I have never seen a couple that obviously likes each other sooo much. When YU doesn't understand, he whispers to Sam and he immediately translates for him <3 Really great couple. And how Sam smiles when he is with YU. Even his eyes are smiling. They are something else that's for sure. I'm happy that they have so much fun. It's great being young and having good friends. Hopefully the series will be received well (especially season 2!). I remember the drama back then when Trapped aired. Ugh ...

It's the first time that I see someone enjoying the shipping so much!
I have to agree. How they milked the Bright&Win couple ... unbelievable.
