I think your view "Only gay people should act/produce/direct in gay movies/series" is very problematic. That also means that no gay person should ever act/direct/produce a hetero movie. I know some famous gay/lesbian actors who never would have made it big with those restrictions. I also wonder why you enjoy TharnType so much, when it's obviously based on some smutty fan fiction written by a heterosexual woman. That said, you don't have to like 2gether. I don't want to convince you to like it (if it came across that way).

I'm very critical too, but about the story, the acting, the chemistry on screen. Not about their sexuality and their right to act in a BL series. You don't ship straight actors? You shouldn't ship any actor. There is a difference between fiction and reality. I don't care what they do in their private life (nobody should) as long as they are doing a good job on screen.

It's a shame that they don't appeal to you as a couple, but to each their own. Talking about being straight/gay. Both are straight and are open about that. I think Bright is very believable in the series as a gay man. He is stylish, elegant, a bit feminine (I love how he crosses his legs). In an interview he talked about playing a gay man and how he felt. That was by far the deepest interview I have ever seen from a BL actor. He really took this role serious.
Also, about their kiss being awkward. It was supposed to be like this in ep 5. Don't know how they will do in the future, but they aren't awkward about kissing in general.

Those two are hilarious. And then all the drama about the kiss ... I wonder why some people have to be so miserable.

Both kisses look a bit strange because they are forced and messy. But that's okay. I don't see how the one is better than the other. It's just that people are thirsty for seeing lips touching.

I think the success of 2gether has not much to do with Bright's popularity. One of the shows where he participated as a host are on YouTube and don't have many views (around 150k). The success is mostly because 2gether is so funny, cute, romantic. People like to rewatch it, they like to comment. The last episode even premiered on YouTube LIVE (!!!) with subtitles. Back then when ep 1 aired we had to wait 48 hours for eng sub. I don't think they were expecting this series to become this big ...

Really? I have seen in an interview how he talked about his past projects and was saying they got discontinued with an awkward laugh. He is no newbie, but I thought he wasn't really that successful. The song he recorded for 2gether seems to be his first own song. He said, normally he just covers songs of other people. 2gether sure pushed his career.

Especially in that scene, where they try to record their singing and Bright presents himself as "Tine's husband", Tine's acting, mannerism, voice - I thought it's Gulf when I saw him the first time LOL
Bright's beauty is very unusual. He has that kind of face, you just have to look at it. Like you I can imagine him making it big in the industry with modeling (he has the face and body), acting (he has the talent) etc. He seems to have the right personality too (deep, artistic, stylish).

You know what's funny? I wanted to skip this series because Win reminded me so much of Type in the trailer (similar face, very similar voice). I don't like the actor and I find him very unattractive LOL, I know you like him a lot :P But yeah, they look good together and Win is a cutiepie.

They have a strange chemistry going on ... in the series it's top, but in real life ... I don't know if they can pull it off like other couples. They are the couple that "doesn't provide fan service", which makes them special, I guess. Overall I feel it's more an issue with their personality than their chemistry. Win doesn't seem to be into interviews, shows and stuff. He comes across very care-free, sometimes almost bored. Bright likes to talk a lot, but he is too sophisticated and eloquent for the BL fandom LOL. Together they are just a strange combination.

With "drama" I meant the drama on YouTube because people thought their lips didn't touch.

I like the series very much. It's not perfect (far from it), but so refreshing, cute, funny. And the acting is very raw and makes the characters look like real people despite the rather silly plot and circumstances.

I think 2gether is adored mostly by international fans because it's like a "normal" Tv series. I mean, most thai BL series are so weird. So sloooow, actors standing around not knowing where to put their hands, those dialogues that are completely unrelatable. Those long pauses when they talk sigh. I like thai BL, but I never feel those actors are people that could exist in real life. I remember it took me a long time to get into thai BL, because the language and the style didn't appeal to me. I had never such a problem with Japanese anime or Korean Drama. Bright and Win's acting is very natural, similar like in some Taiwanese BL series. It's just fun, cute, romantic. The rewatch value is high.
GMM didn't promote this series much. It looked more like they had no trust into its success. On YouTube people were complaining everywhere that those two guys are too straight to be believable as BL actors.

I have seen an interview (I don't find it anymore) and I don't want to spread false information, but Bright said that he and Win would be working together a lot in the future. I was really surprised. They still don't do fan service, but they were part of this School Rangers series. It seems they are becoming the new big GMMTV BL couple.

Well, there is always a minority that has to complain about everything and unfortunately those minorities are often the loudest. But in general this series seems to be a HUGE success. I'm surprised how much views it gets. Every part of every episode has around 1 million views. If they keep this up 2gether will be more successful than DBK and ToL.

On Youtube was a heated discussion about the kiss being "fake" and of course so called BL fans came to the conclusion that they didn't kiss because they are straight guys and don't want to kiss another man. Yeah. It was ugly. Some people said they are not excited anymore for the series because of this.

This whole drama makes my blood boil. I't so stupid and I hate stupid things. You can see in slow motion how Bright's nose is buried in Win's cheek. I don't know how he could have NOT touched his lips. Jesus ... thank you for sharing the link.

That girl is so damn beautiful and nice. Watching ep 5 I thought I would have a hard time chosing between her and Sarawat and we all now Sarawat is gorgeous. I seriously think she is the most beautiful thai girl I have ever seen.

That plot sounds pretty okay. I try to avoid spoiler, so I didn’t know.

I'm not a fan of the "Sarawat planned it all"-plot, but if you pay attention it's pretty obvious that he likes Tine and treats him special from the very beginning. Like that scene when Tine wanted to sign up for the music club, but couldn't, because of all the girls, Sarawat intentionally went away, so the girls followed him and Tine could sign up. Then, in the music club, he was helping Tine play and apparently was waiting for the others to go home. He doesn't seem to be interested in other people, but he always looks out for Tine. Then the fact, that the whole fake-boyfriend-demand from Tine made him rather angry (he wants to be his real boyfriend) etc. He tried to lure him in his apartment to get closer to him. He is getting a bit more bold lately. With the songs he tried to tell him that he likes him. His confession "you're reserved to me, don't flirt with anybody else" was said when he was drunk, though. The frustration took over.
