Yea so theres this thing that happens in every story and in real life where opposites attract/have good chemistry.…
Well, I know that, but normally I don't hear a voice whispering in my head "This will not work out. NEVER." LOL That was honestly the strongest feeling I got from watching ep 3. That it is just impossible and it made me kinda sad. Knowing it's a romcom with happy ending, they will manage somehow. I'm excited for that.
Everyone is saying this is so cute, romantic etc. But isn't it kinda sad too? LOL The story is rather generic, but the characters are so well written that it feels "real". Watching ep 3 I constantly asked myself why a guy like Sarawat is attracted to a guy like Tine. They are just too different. This cannot work out. But the thing is, my personality is similar to Sarawat's (unfortunately I'm not that good looking LOL) and I too was immediately attracted to Win/Tin (which normally never happens, I'm not drooling over actors). So I guess, it's a thing that introverted, rather serious, but kind-hearted people (like myself LOL) fall in love with others who are goofy, cute, bubbly. But let's be honest for a moment, in real life Sarawat would NEVER get this boy. Tine is a guy who is 120% straight and rather lacks the emotional depth which is needed to make such a relationship work (hopefully we will see a different site of him later). So it makes me rather sad thinking this would have no happy end in real life LOL. Taking about "realism": Someone called them the "straight couple" on Weibo. I don't know about their real personalities/sexualities, but in the series Sarawat is 100% believable as a gay guy. No idea why people are gushing over him how "manly" he is. They dress him very feminine and his whole rather elegant appearance screams "gay" to me (which doesn't mean all gay guys are feminine or there are no masculine gay guys etc.) But his portrayal of the character is very believable.
Why does this series keeps getting better at each ep? Why does Sarawat is getting perfect at each ep?!! Ugh I…
His character is rather sad, though. He is that super handsome guy everyone goes crazy about, but at the same time he seems extremely lonely and bad in socializing with others. Knowing that he is in love with Tine makes it even worse because at the moment it looks like he has zero chances. Good thing it's a romcom , otherwise I would be devastated if he doesn't get his happy end.
LOL, same. I never did that before. This is just tooo good. I can watch the funny scenes 5 times and still laugh. And I can watch the emotional scenes over and over again and still blush.
The rating issue is not a problem to me if MDL wouldn't allow for rating on airing shows AT ALL. There is no need…
There must be some kind of glitch/bug. Those ratings fluctuate twice a day in a rather drastic way. I have never seen this before on MDL. The detailed statistics show that 86% rated the drama 8 or higher.
if i understand it correctly, the first trailers we get months before the actual series are sort of "pilot episodes/trailers"…
I don't think the first 2gether trailer was low budget, but the mood was completely different. It looks like a different story and I guess Shizumare is right, fans weren't happy and so they changed the script. I was just confused because this almost looked like they had to film two different series LOL which would have been such a waste. But like you said, maybe this was just done for hyping up the drama and the real filming started afterwards.
I read the comment and I was like: ugh my feelings are hurt coz I love Why R U... but also, it;s true it's a clusterf*ck…
Yeah, Zee does a great job. He looks like a lost puppy LOL so in love with Saint. The production (backgrounds, lightening etc.) in Why r u? are pretty good, the acting is good, the chemistry is good, but the dialogues and characters ... sigh. And how they put the scenes together! They really could have tried a liiiiiitle bit harder. The weakest point of most BL series is the script. I feel like watching a bad fanfic written by a teenager (I read many of those when I was younger LOL). Better dialogues, better (more complex) characters and I'm sold even though the plot is generic. Nobody can reinvent the wheel. 2gether is the best example how to do it right. Or HIStory: Boundary Crossing which was also pretty nicely done. Both aren't revolutionary plotwise. Whatever. Hopefully 2gether will not disappoint and keep up the quality. One good BL per year is enough for me LOL.

Tutor/Fighter are the most generic BL characters I can think of. Their background (poor vs. rich), their personalities (serious vs. playboy) and then the whole girlfriend issue! They just recycle old storylines. The only thing that spices the relationship up is the fact that Tutor is not your typical "bottom", which was the reason why I got so invested in those two. I can understand if people enjoy the series, but I'm a bit bored. The whole I-was-only-teasing-you plot is not one of my favorites either. I feel like I have seen this hundred million times before and I'm not living for it.

Obviously there are too many couples/characters, but with a better script they could have managed somehow. Whoever wrote this mess has zero talent. I feel like the writer wasn't even trying ...
I'm only a few minutes into the first episode and I can already tell that the acting and directing is leaps and…
"Edit: I actually want to cry as I'm watching this. The pacing (and writing) doesn't make me want to kill myself. I've found peace..." LOL, same. Did you watch ep 2 now? Because while the strenght of ep 1 was the humor, in ep 2 they did an incredible job with the more emotional scenes. I didn't think they would be equally good with humor and emotions.
