I contacted the admins last weekend. They responded that there is nothing wrong. A rating must meet a lot of criteria to be valid (which criteria they didn't want to disclose) and that the statistics need time to update (7-14 days). After seeing that the rating went up (from 6.8 to 7.9) and that now 600 people rated it (similar to other recently aired series) I thought we are going in the right direction. Apparently not. I only see 15 user rating it at the moment and the rating changed again.

Now we have 15 user who rated the series. Two hours ago I saw 600. Am I going crazy?

I’m just comparing it to other airing series. Around this time it should have several hundred ratings like other series have. Where do you see the 8 and 6 people?

The real rating should be somewhere around 8.8 ... I think those statistics update too slow. At least the user rating count is right now. Yesterday only 13 people rated the series, now we have over 600 LOL

Trailer 1 and 2 are very different. It seems they changed a lot of scenes and had to retake them. I wonder why they decided to do that ...

I don’t like this plot to be honest. It’s too far-fetched, but we will see ...

How they treat k-pop stars and actors in Korea is also a big problem, but the companies don't seem to care even though there are many suicides.
I honestly don't think there will be a big change in the BL genre regarding the quality and/or what actors have to do off screen. Why r u? aires at the same time and it's the opposite of 2gether in so many aspects. The series is popular mostly because of the same old formula: hot and cute guys are making out and everyone ships Saint with Zee. I get the feeling those two are shipped really hard and with Zee looking at Saint like a lost puppy, his eyes full of desire ... hm. I wonder what will happen when one of them gets a girlfriend.
2gether and BrightWin will be just a different series we get once in a while, but I don't think that's the direction they will go in the future. I just don't believe it. It depends a lot on how big 2gether will become, how much people will love the actors, how good it will be at the end of the day (maybe it goes downhill in the next episodes?) Who knows ...

I'm not a fan of OffGun or the fanservice they show us (I don't see any chemistry to be honest), but you cannot hate those guys. There is something very charming about them. They play it smart. The same with MaxTul. The latter are so shameless and it seems like they have a lot of fun doing fan service. There was never a big drama involving those two as far as I recall. Talking about Bright and Win: mmmm ... if the series keeps the quality up those two can became big. I don't know how their relationship will change then, but I cannot imagine them doing fan service like MaxTul or MewGulf. MewGulf is really offputting. I think I watched a video of them once and couldn't take it LOL. Since then I never clicked on one again. I also dropped TharnType. No offense: but as someone who makes a living with novel writing and has a PhD in psychology, this was hard to swallow. No idea if the novel was any better, but the series failed to portray the psychological aspects of such a story in a serious and realistic way.

I thought the guy who plays Ohm (one of Tine's friend) is the same who played Non in DBK. Turn's out they are twins :O

I wouldn't be too concerned about the rating on this site. The show is doing great. Episode 2 is online for 3 days and has around half a million views with many comments. That's pretty impressive.

That's a bit harsh. If this series blows up who knows what they are told to do? This is a GmmTV show after all. Don't they have fan meetings and stuff? No idea.

Do you know about HIStory Trapped? Those fans are on another level of crazy. Back then they weren't happy with an anticipated love scene and even attacked the director of the series (she said she has no control over the script, but they didn't believe her) and she deleted her social media. The shocking thing is that most of those fans are somewhere between 15 and 25 (I'm sure of it!). It's so irritating that those young people have so much power and think they know everything and have the right to say others how to do their job LOL. Those youngsters (I'm a bit older) scare me sometimes. The same with all those Korean celebrities who kill themselves. It often happens because of all the fan hate they get. Why are young people so hateful and demanding?
Talking about BL: I have a weakness for it and will always be supportive, but yeah, if you feel like losing brain cells then maybe it's tme to stop watching. I think most of those actors are very talented. How they are able to convey emotions just with their gazes is impressive. I don't see that often in western series. If something is holding them back it's the very restricted genre with those rather simple scripts, the cheesy production and the obligatory fan service. Like I mentioned above: I don't blame actors if they say they don't want to do BL anymore. But if it's a series like 2gether I wouldn't mind being a part of it. It looks like the guys have so much fun and take their job serious while not mixing it with their private life. Hopefully this won't change!

Not a fan of Green and his behavior. But I cannot hate him. The actor plays his role so well. The scenes are always so funny. I also feel like Win is doing especially well in those scenes with Green.

Well, before that it was 7,6 from 2 users and later 6,8 from 2 users :P

The side characters are also great. The girl of the music club killed it in ep 2. I really loved her. After watching ep1 I thought Win would carry the whole series alone. But Bright is stepping in now :P

REALLY???!!! MaxTul? If there is a couple I cannot resist, then it's MaxTul. But I never thought about them while watching BrightWin. Maybe the tension between them is similar ...? Still, it's an interesting thought. Hard to compare though, because MaxTul chemistry changed so much over the years. I remember a very early interview where Tul tried to do fan service (putting his hand on Max shoulder) and it looked pretty awkward, Max wasn't responding either. Imagine such a scene now LOL. They are so shameless.

I wasn't underwhelmed by the first episode. I'm a sucker for comedy done right and Win won me over with his performance immediately. I would have kept watching even if it's not a BL. If something was underwhelming than it was Bright's character, but yeah, in ep 2 he completely stole the show. They are a perfect match. Whoever was responsible for the casting is a genius.

Yeah, I thought it's a technical problem because it's strange that only 13 people rated the series. But the admins of MDL responded there is nothing wrong ... I don't know ... Maybe we just have to wait ...
Dark Blue Kiss had a big fanbase, though. Everyone was excited for Tay&New.
The views on YouTube are pretty high, so I wouldn't care too much about the rating on this site. I think the series is doing great.
