Sotus is good, it deserves the high rating. But I'm surprised myself that so many people liked it. I guess because of the very cheesy love story (yeah, I'm not so much into slow paced, cute love stories, without any drama and with charcters who are too perfect to be real). But compared to other (thai) drama it's really great and pretty smart. I watched Make It Right, Love Sick and tried 2Moons - if you know one of them you know them all. I'm glad that dramas like Sotus exist.

I can only speak for myself, but the storytelling in Sotus is one of the best in a BL series I have seen to date. You can learn something from the story, while Together With Me is just a typical love drama with two boys who fall in love and one of them has a girlfriend and cannot make up his mind. It's nothing new, nothing special. But what's special is the chemistry between the actors (Max&Tul) and the many romantic and also heart wrenching scenes. Of course the hot scenes are great too, but that's because the actors are doing such a fabolous job in potraying those two characters. While I found the love story in Sotus cute (yeah, I was smiling like an idiot most of the time), watching Korn&Knock is just different. It feels so REAL. It's a completely new level of BL.
On a sidenote: I'm one of the few people who enjoyed the BL in Bad Romance A LOT. The script was bad, yes, but their chemistry was undeniable - even without a single (not forced) kiss.

If you like Bright/Farm that's okay. But saying their scenes are the best of the whole series is just unfair. Max and Tul did a fabolous job, you cannot compare their effort with the scenes of Bright/Farm.

Wow ... so Farm gets heart broken and that's it? And the teacher/Phu relationships ends just like that? Why taking the effort to include other "love stories" if they aren't going to finish them? I can't believe it. They give Pleng and her evil plan (whatever she has in mind) all the screen time when it could have been resolved so easily.

Where did you get that information? I thought there were 15 ...

Well, they messed up Bad Romance big time, so I'm prepared for the worst.

You didn't get it wrong. Many people complain about it. Together With Me doesn't seem like a prequel, the characters are very different. Funny thing in BR he said something like "I have to think about my parents, I don't want them to know." Did you see his mother in TWM? I'm pretty sure she will accept it.

Hm, I don't know about Pleng and her so called "love". Is it even the first?
Her boyfriend was beaten up because of her and she didn't feel sorry. (She only wanted to hurt Korn, I know, but Knock was helping him.) She wants to see her boyfriend suffer. Looking at the love stories potrayed in this series you wonder if it is not some kind of mental illness. Like Farm being in love with such a player. He must have some issues. No mental healthy person would endure this. Pleng playing her games, manipulating Knock to keep him ... that cannot be healthy either. I don't care if it is "realistic", because, sure, somewhere on that planet that may happen. You can write a good love story without taking it so far. I enjoy the series, just saying.

Yeah, it was annoying. I think Knock's problem is more he doesn't like to be seen as gay . At least there was a scene with Bright where he admitted it. He won't understand and accept that he is in love with a guy but they could do a better job in showing us that conflict. Pleng is evil, I don't like that either. If she would be a nice girl and they would have been in a relationship for months or years, the conflict would feel more real. There is no love between him and Pleng. How she smirked when she saw that Knock got beaten ... wow. Storywise they messed it up. I don't know if it gets better to the end *crossing fingers*

I have a soft spot for Knock, I really love this character. Yeah, I even cried with him. In Bad Romance he had a point and Korn was wrong about many things. I think they were both hurt. In TWM Korn is the perfect guy and Knock is just ... well, a douchebag. How cocky he was with Mew lol ... that was really, um, ... and then he lost the fight. Haha. I loved it. Such a character works perfectly fine if the other one (Korn) is not taking his bullshit and the character is changing. This will happen sonner or later, I would have prefered it to happen sooner. Seeing the preview for the next episode it seems Korn will fight for him again. He just cannot keep his distance and is spoling that brat. And then the evil girlfriend. I hope at least Knock will chose Korn before knowing about her true nature. Being upset because she cheated on him ... OMG, really? I think Tul is pretty talented, but that actings wasn't great. I guess he himself coudn't take it serious.

I don't get why they make Bright such an easy-to-hate-character. I was never a fan of the Bright/Farm scenes but now I HAVE to skip them, because I really cannot watch something like that.

I didn't like the whole thing. What kind of logic is that? You have no right to say something, you cheated on me first. Now let's be together like nothing happend. SERIOUSLY? I guess they inserted that scene to show us the difference in Knock's feeling. He was upset, but he didn't care much about the other guy while seeing Korn with Mew resulted in a fist fight. But maybe he will fight with the other guy in the next episode? Who knows ... The last two episodes were a big disappointment. Knock is unable to understand that he loves Korn, he is unable to understand that Korn loves him, and we have to endure this for so long because the series has 15 episodes. Sorry, I'm in a bad mood, but I wished for a different development.

Ohm&Toey? You mean Book and Frame from Make it Right? I had to google their names, didn't know them. It's better I don't talk about MIR. I enjoyed it A LOT, but somewhere in the middle I felt like a pedophile. I don't know ... such young and underdeveloped guys who touch each other ... I always wondered who is the audience? Who likes watching young boys? Young girls? Older women? Gay boys? Older gay men? How is it even allowed to let them act in a series about love and sex? The kisses were pretty innocent, I know, but it's strange compared to America where actors who play teens are 20+ or almost 30. I like Together with Me a lot because they seem more mature, even though Max is only 21. Btw I know Book was the oldest of the cast. Tee, my favorite, was only 15!
One of the guys who act in 2Moons (I think it was Wayo) said in an interview he wants to get the best out of this job (money and fame) and then he will retire. He said it more charming, but yeah.
I sometimes feel that's the new feminism lol. You always hear that women are only objects for men or whatever. I'm convinced most BL fans are female. So now they can drool over hot men making out and get aroused by it (I'm no different).
Again I think about Huang Jingyu (from Addicted/Heroin): it was obvious he was dragged into this mess. He wasn't an actor and needed some money. They became stars over night. I always felt like it's not the life he dreamed about.

Yeah, and then comes episode 11 and all is the same. We are going in circles.

"Why does Farm like him on the first place, because he's handsome ?" That's why I never liked the relationship. Why is he even in love? What is it what he likes about Bright? No idea ...

Well, he will. That's the story. Not everyone can be perfect and knowing everything from the start. Some people have to "learn". He is in denial and will understnad what he feels for Korn soon enough. Jesus.

Such events where they have to eat a noodle or something so their mouths almost touch are like a dream coming true for BL fans. I liked it too at the beginning. Now I start thinking it's like a circus and the boys are the attraction like the guy with two heads. They only have to touch each other and (female) fans are screaming. I think that's pretty hysterical and not respectful. I saw a clip of a show where they had to watch the love scene of ep1 in front of fans and other cast members. What kind of face are you supposed to make? It seems Max doesn't care but Tul is embarrassed. I want to see them making out for 50 minutes straight in every episode, but they shouldn't bother them off screen. I'm a hard core YuZhou shipper (I admit it), but Max&Tul are different. I don't sense anything more than friendship. ZhouZhou and Johnny didn't touch that much either and I don't remember them playing silly games.

Knock isn't a bad guy, he was not a bad guy in Bad Romance either. It's fascinating how Korn is always loved (he knew Knock had a girlfriend, he also knew Knock had never had a relationship with a guy, but he approached him anyways with his puppy eyes), so Knock made his decision (he chose Korn) and then the girlfriend plays the guilt-card. He is soft hearted and easy to manipulate, we know that since Bad Romance. Without this conflict there is no story.
It saddens me to see how this character is so much hated and only maybe 10% of the viewers are able to sympathize with him.

I knew it, number 4 is the "hopeless romantic" :P Just kidding ...
I got the feeling Bright seening Korn&Knock together has some impact on him. Like he starts to think that he wants something like that too.
Btw they played the soundtrack of "Late Autumn" in the Bright/Farm scene. Such a beautiful piano piece. I was amlost crying :(
