MK916 has downloaded the manhua. That should generate some new comments. But we must always do it tactfully. Don't…
Yes I am still working on putting together the manhua in pdf. I found some higher resolution scans, so I'm replacing the ones that I did earlier. The text is a bit clearer and there are no watermarks on the pages. I'm excited about reading them after I'm done hehehe.
I've created a discussion topic for the manhua pdf that I'm working on. I have a feeling the previous messages with the link to my google drive will be buried in the comment section. It might be easier to access this way.
I just created a pdf of Volume 1 & 2 of the manhua. Here is the link to my TLB folder:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1CW0Az9mL5uSoDjQNXAwaz8U6t11Scmmv?usp=sharingI…
I've updated the folder up to Volume 3 (Chapter 18) of the manhua. I am trying to finding higher resolution scans of these, but for now please make do with these pdfs that I made. Let me know if the resolution is readable.
I am going to bed now and will put together the rest of the volumes tomorrow.
I will keep on working on the remaining volumes (looks like there are 11 of them). I haven't gone through and edit this pdf, but feel free to read it. I may make some changes to the pdfs when I actually read through them.
Please let me know if there are corrections that need to be made or if you have issues accessing the folder.
I did a quick research and there's suppose to be 7 volumes of the manhua. So I will split them according to the volumes. I'm already done with Volume 1 already, so it won't take long to create these pdf(s). I will post a link to my TLB folder when I'm done. Probably in the next day.
I couldn't find it in pdf either and it might be hard to read it in an epub format since there's no zooming feature in epub. I am thinking of making a pdf of the whole manhua. I've done a few chapters already, so compiling it is not too hard.
Please let me know if anyone is interested in reading the manhua in pdf. I might just upload to my TLB folder in Google Drive.
Even with my 4th rewatch, E14 & E15 still make me cry. At the end of E14 and especially the beginning of E15, the emotions are so raw. I felt that each actor/actress performed so well. Each and every line, tears, actions were genuine, especially Madam Gongsun.
Checking list....How many times you rewatch The Long Ballad?Me; it would be 10 and still counting hahaha P.s I…
I think I'm on my fourth re-watch of the drama offline on my iPhone. I just added some of the cool fanmade videos to my phone, like the 22 min long BTS compilation and the recent action shots compilation provided by TLBJunkie below.
I did not know Simon Gun had a bad reputation. He was good in Word of Honor.
I remember when I started releasing subtitles starting from E25 and publishing only one a day because it takes alot of time making subtitles and time syncing them correctly, I literally had messages in my inbox everyday day for me to release more. Unfortunately I couldn't, but they were patient enough and having 1 episode a day wasn't too bad for them. Literally on the day when the sub for the last episode was out, there were approx 600 downloads in 1 day. I have never seen that many downloads.
I actually didn't start watching TLB until the drama was airing for about 2 weeks. I was surprise how GOOD TLB was and it completely replace WOH on my list. I mean WOH would still be on my list of dramas to watch, but it's dropped down on my list after TLB. I've been stuck in this re-watch mode of TLB and haven't been able to move on. Hehehe.

I had watched WOH before watching TLB and it was one was one of my favorite dramas until TLB came along. I was so into WOH that I when Youku first aired it on their VIP platform, I released/published the English subtitles a month before it finished airing for international viewers on May 6. There's approx 1,200 downloads for those subtitles today and the downloads are still going strong. Compared to other drama subtitles I've released, they are only a few hundred downloads versus 1,200.
The only caution I have with watching it Netflix (as other people have pointed it out ), their subtitles may not be accurate. I heard that instead of using the term "soulmates" used in Youku & Viki, they may be using "bosom friend" in Netflix because it's a bromance drama. If you're not bothered by it too much then I would recommend watching WOH. I actually have WOH in 4K and it's AMAZING. =)
Also, if you like Liu Yuning (the one acting as Hao Du), he sings the intro song to WOH.
Here is a video of him singing live the ending song Cocoon:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Stiy3xPEJ2AI myself…
Hao Du (Liu Yuning) also sang the opening song for Word of Honor. His voice is AMAZING too.
Zhou Shen sang some of the songs below (I'm sure there are more out there that I'm missing): - The Long Ballad (Cocoon - End Song) - Love and Redemption (Love Like Colored Glass) - Love of Thousand Years (Fleeting Flowers in a Timely Rain) - The Rebel Princess (The End of the World - End Song)
I myself was so shocked. I had also liked some of his previous songs from dramas such as Love and Redemption, Love of Thousand Years, Rebel Princess, etc. I didn't realize it was a guy. He has an amazing voice.
I freaking love the opening n endings songs...i dont even skip it...
I am the same way. This is probably one of the dramas where I don't skip the opening and ending songs. I love the OST so much that I went as far as inserting the Chinese lyrics, pinyin and English translations in each of the mps3 songs. I play it on my phone very often throughout the day.
