I'm glad I'm not the only one crazy for this drama. Even after watching the drama without skipping twice, I'm still thinking about TLB. I was going back to re-watch Word of Honor, but it didn't give me the same feeling of wanting to re-watch as I did TLB. I mean WOH was a great watch when I first saw it, but it somehow didn't captivate me as much as TLB.

The character developments surprised me, considering the fact I wasn't a fan of some of Raba's previous works (probably because she didn't get the chance to show her talents as she did in TLB) and I haven't watched Leo Wu in any other drama besides Nirvana in Fire. I've been watching Asian dramas for a LONG time (over 15+ years) and I haven't come across a drama that has grabbed my attention as much as TLB.

The subtitles are for people who usually download episodes from online such as YouTube/other websites and watch them on their own devices. These are not videos to watch online.

For those who download the episodes, I've created subtitles where I've combined Huace/Viki with Viu subs for improved subtitles. I've added music lyrics that appear on the top of the screen while the English subtitles are at the bottom screen. These subtitles are posted on Subscene.

Maybe after my 2nd rewatch of TLB I can gently put this drama to the side and finish my subtitle project I was working on with Word of Honor (which I've put on hold because of TLB).

I agree with you. As I was watching the drama the first time, I had change the subs of "she" to "he" when necessary within E01-018. It wasn't until E18 when she was revealed to be female. So I had to make the subs "he" to be more correct.

I think the subs on Dramacrush are the same subs as Viki & Huace right now.

The subs from Viki/Huace translated that line as "When can I have a wedding with you?" while Viu translated it as "When will I be able to remove the fan for you in the wedding ceremony?" Similar to @sakie response above, the lines from Viu seem much more romantic. =)

I am currently rewatching this again and am as captivated as I was the first time I watched it. I am not even skipping to my favorite GeSun parts, but rewatching the drama without skipping. I am sure this is the same for many others.

It's funny, my young daughter sometimes comes over and says, "She (referring to Changge) is like Mulan. She's so brave and strong."

I think they release 2 sub episodes a day from M-W. So there's a high change the sub for the last E49 will be 5/17 if they follow their usual sub release schedule.

Of course, I'm hoping all subs could be release this coming week instead of waiting 4 days for the final episode to be sub.

It's alright considering these are mtl subs rather than the official sub release that is coming out in a few days. I made these subs for people who are impatient (like myself) and just want to get the gist of each episode. I've noted on where I posted that the subs are not accurate and missing some context that can't be picked up from Google Translate.

For those who download the raw episodes, I’ve posted MTL soft subs for E43-44 on subscene. I’ve gone through and edit them as best as I could. I will post E45-46 later today.

You are absolutely on target, at least for me. I was solely focused on the story when I was editing the subtitles. Now that I’m caught up to the subs, I am rewatching the drama and focusing more on the screen and their acting.

I usually download the raw episodes from BDE4. They have the best HD quality. =) Even downloading the episodes from Youtube in 1080p doesn't compare to the 1080p from BDE4 for some reason.

I have a hard drive for the drama that I really enjoy watching.

I usually do a grammar and spell check for the subs that I post on subscene. When I saw that “Liar liar pants on fire” I pause, rewound the part and then ??? I knew if this was my reaction, many others would've had the same reaction. Hehehe I had to change the text.

Oh there are some drama in 4K. I have The Legends, Love and Redemption and Word of Honor in 4K. =)

Just wish the Long Ballad was in 4K. =)
