Not just actresses, Jupiter Rules attacks even male actors too. Particularly Xu Kai in Ancient Love Poetry. I would always see some negative comment about him almost daily.

I was watching to E6 until 1am last night and through out those episodes, I hated the emperor. 😂 His horrible treatment of people around him, especially Fang Zhu. Showing flashbacks of his gentler, and loving side with Zizan somehow didn’t make his present behavior excusable.

Please stop with the negativity. If you think she looks old and you don’t like the ML....then maybe you shouldn’t watch the drama? You attacked Xu Kai when Ancient Love Poetry was airing. Kept hating on him in Song of Youth (even though he wasn’t in the drama). And now Yang Mi....

🤣 Love your comment! I am on the same boat as you. I saw multiple videos on YouTube mentioning this topic. I cannot understand all the dislike because he’s not the typical “handsome” pale faced actor. I personally like him and he brought a freshness to this drama. He made it very enjoyable for me.

You should try Jun Jiuling. It just recently aired and it’s such an unrated drama. The FL has such a strong character. There are some complaints that the ML isn’t handsome enough. But I like him, very manly and super supportive.

I still get comments today about the FMVs for OnO/FnE. The view counts are more than I expected. I actually watch those videos often as well and get emotional during their heart-breaking scenes.

The FMV for this drama will be on a happier note with many cute scenes. 😂 Unfortunately, I can’t publish the fmv until the drama finish airing. It’s about 2 weeks from now.

I agree that sometimes the rating on Douban is unfair, particularly in regards to those dramas you’ve just mentioned. Jun Jiuling was actually very good despite viewers saying the ML was not handsome (I thought he’s amazing in the drama). The couple’s chemistry was off the charts with a good storyline. I ended up making a fmv of their cute moments together. 😂 Same thing with Forever and Ever (made multi fmv because of the couple’s chemistry). And…same thing with this drama. I’ve already compiled all the cute scenes from Baoning and Li Qian for their cute moments fmv. The storyline might not be on par with some dramas….but the couple is just SO CUTE TOGETHER! 😂 I just can’t help myself with making a fmv.

I agree with your comments 💯. The ML performed well in this drama. He didn’t have the usual “handsome” face, so maybe that’s why this drama is not as popular as other dramas. But in terms of acting and storyline, it’s not bad. Better than some of the dramas airing now. I actually like the ML the first moment he entered 😊.
