( It is a great unofficial sequale of the movie 'Sado').

All the casts are excellent in the drama.

The soundtrack ( especially background music are amazing.)

Cinematography is good.

It is based on real life historical figures, so the ending is like those of real ones in history.

Historically, Jeongjo was worshipped as a Saint King , only second to King Sejong the Great.

His devotion to his first love, Lady Uibin Seong , was retold as one of the most beautiful love stories of Joseon dynasty .
On the other hand , the petite maid actually refused the King twice in spite of consequences her refusal could bring her to.

The drama was told as the reimagination of her refusal and her story from her POV from newly discovered historical facts .

As I replied to one of the posts below, though Lady Uibin was a palace maid, she must have VIP privileges because she was kinda Lady Hyegyeong's adopted daughter and even wrote transcriptions with Jeongjo's sisters.

She might have more freedom than a regular maid .

After the drama has ended ,I did wonder what 'Deok Im' really wanted in her life.
Her love or her freedom as a woman.

Was the last scene only a wishful dream of the ML or did she wait for him in the afterlife regardless of her words since he was free of duty after his death ?

First, I like TTEOM when it aired. But after it has finished airing and I looked the picture as a whole,I feel the only good thing about that drama was LYX's acting , the plot was inconsistent and I didn't understand the female lead's character at all.On the other hand, BFTB has a very consistent female lead character. Of course, the two main lead's acting may be be the same level as LYX's emotional acting ,but it is not too bad ,either. Also, the plot is simple and the couple is pretty cute together. Dragon King was emotionless in the beginning of the drama because he was betrayed by his first love and he was heartless ( literally ) like he said.

Yanhui standing on TY's tail must be like a girl feeling a guy's thigh up and down. 😂😂😂

What I'm angry about this ending is that it is a fantasy drama ,they can change the ending if they want to ,like a piece of soul is left ,and he can reincarnate from the piece ( don't give me the crap that the logic of reincarnation of Gods is impossible in this drama, and his reincarnation will make the plot hole ).
It is a fantasy drama, for God's sake.
There are a lot of nonsense in later parts, why can't they include his incarnation.

The novel's ending is good, and that audio ending. It is so confusing what they want to do with TTJ character .

And left a child. LOL

From the supposed audio prologue, when they are talking about remembering which day it is, I am only thinking about 'Even Day' in 'Queen Charlotte of Bridgerton series. 😂😂🙄🙄

It is not only TTJ ( CJM ) and LSS, they should have shown the revival of LSS's adopted dad and CJM 's chief like in the novel.😭😭

The mortal TTJ and Ah Mi reunion scene is one of the best in the novel.🥰🥰

In the korea drama 'Dong Yi' I still adored and remembered the scene of ML and his son meeting for the first time.
( Although the son later grew up into the angry grandpa king in 'The Red Sleeve' 🤣🤣)

I am hoping for that kind of scene in TTEM.🙏🙏

LYX must have fun while shooting today's episodes.
There are two versions of him talking to themselves.

Plot wise, Devil's god version of suffering are the same as Madara's take of infinite Tsukoyomi in Naruto.

TTJ alone and his inner strength to get together with LSS are the only drawing factors left for me 😅😅.
The story has lost its logic long time ago.

They will at least include their make out scenes to create their daughter in the novel, 😄😄Me still hopeful.

I am thinking to watch the last immortal arc after the drama has finished airing to be less disappointed by it.

Because it is based on real life historical characters . The ending can't be changed . The king lost 3 of their children with Uibin , sometimes life can be cruel.
