i’m in ep8 and i’m so confused, is the ML the the son of the Duke? Thats what they referred to him as when…
Duke of Ying is the father, he is an official in the royal court, family name is Song.
Duke of Ding is the maternal uncle(who was more his father), older brother of Song Mo's mother. Raised Song Mo in the military after his father kicked him out of the house for the umpteenth time. The Duke of Ding is the head of the Ding Army, family name is Jiang.
Song Mo could take over either of those Duke titles. But he is the heir of the Duke of Ying title...his uncle until recently didn't have any sons, so the title would have gone to Song Mo(at his uncle's request).
the info i got from someone who has read the novel isbasically, Song Mo's father was forced to marry Song Mo’s…
Also to add on context that we are missing because it wasn't adapted for the show...at least not yet so super possible spoiler below do not read on if you don't even want the potential to be spoiled.
So this info comes from a novel reader(aka I am not the original source) Song Han is actually the son of Song Yi Chun's mistress. He was swapped out after the birth of a daughter from Song Mo's mother. The little sister apparently goes through the absolute most...& is killed in the first timeline. Song Mo doesn't know about her, I don't even think his own mother knew about her.
Didn't song mo mom just died. So they can get married? I see before, for Chinese, they need to wait for some years…
Got an Imperial decree. That was why members of the royal family rocked up during the wedding with well wishes from the Emperor. The marriage was important as to not consolidate power within the royal court. She is the legitimate eldest daughter of a family with no male heirs in the two branches. Her marriage could tip the scales if she were to marry a prince, because of who her father and uncle are within the court. So the Emperor was keeping a close eye on who her father chose as a son-in-law. The person bts doesn't have an issue with their marriage as it kills two birds with one stone...though I'm unsure if the person in the shadows was fully aware of her massive wealth when they didn't interfere. Song Mo is more likely to loose focus if he is distracted by his wife that he very clearly loves. So they can use her as a way to move him where they want him just by threatening her.
While waiting for the new episodes i HIGHLY recommend watching "whenever Possible" a variety show with YYS, It's…
please don't mention sites that have the possibility to go bye bye if found by the higher ups. can you at least edit it so it's just k*h or 💋kh this is how we lost DC(which has a new home btw)
Not sure if it’s an Asian thing or Chinese thing, but I am part Chinese and my mother is left handed. However…
Yeah the "Christians" in USA also tried to undo left-handedness thinking it had to do with the devil. All I've noticed about people who are left handed are more artistically inclined in one way or another.
She has trauma from her past life with regards to marital duties. If your only experience was WTY and a miscarriage…
Reading the snippets of those scenes she's hesitating because it's painful and a painful memory, but also because he is "young" compared to her. She loves him but physical intimacy after an almost deadly miscarriage would make anyone pause.
This is about to get sex ed-y so if that's not your jimjam scroll on by.
Even though she's done this before in the past out of duty doesn't make her an expert either. She didn't get to grow up with examples and people to talk to about this with. Hell even in the snippets I read I was screaming at them like "OMG foreplay is NESSASRY for most women...do not just DIVE IN...OMG...NOOOooooo". And in her first marriage she was used as a tool for breeding not for pleasure so she wouldn't really know that she can ask her husband to get her ready. So she's just in pain because of all the friction with no lubrication until she finally gets out of her own head for a second. I don't know who wrote the novel, but the romance in the bedroom was....um...traumatic and NOT what it is supposed to feel like. Also the writer made me feel like she didn't really want him at times but let him have his way....people seemed to like it, but I fear they do not have access to high quality smut/1st hand experiences to go off of. In the novel I believe he is also like 16 though so little dude is just randy for his wife.
Does anyone know the reason she doesn't write with her dominate hand? I know only Ji Yong and Song Mo picked up that she doesn't use her dominate hand to write sometimes, but I can't remember if there was an in show explanation or it's more of a cultural thing that is just "known".
Um...I say this with kindness, are we watching the same show? This isn't really a very slow on the slow burn scale…
Not really the same...they have similar plot devices, but not really the same wavelength imo Similar length though so I'll go with that. This is more Story of Kunning Palace vibes, story wise as the lead isn't a trained assassin willing to use any means to hide, but slowly moves the ML away from nuclear revenge as they learn to trust each other. Also FL being afraid of ML because of stories she heard in previous life.
Okay, looking at my notes for Kill Me Love Me....first kiss episode one as a ruse.(hot, but more or less used to keep people watching & show you FL is willing to do just about anything to reach her goal.) Next kiss happens in 18...this is almost exact length of time for Blossom as Blossom is 2 episodes longer and first kiss happens in episode 20. So about 55% way through the show. Personally seems right on track. As they too had a bit of sniffing around of one another before deciding not to kill each other.
If you can't tell I am a nerd when it comes to media so the notes are a literal thing in a notebook handwritten not a metaphorical "check my notes", but a color coded key so I can remember when kisses, break ups and death happens in a show.
Her husband might be a fool in the drama.😭🤣🤣But he is a fantastic actor. I was surprised to see him acting…
Did you see his plea to not hate him and that it's just a role? He's like WTY is a POS and you can hate him all you want but please don't hate me. I promise I'm a good person.
In which episode would song mo realise the lady with fox mask is dou Zhao?
Ep 10 he has a strong suspension & tries to confirm, but she evades his questions. Ep13 when tending to him, she uses make-up to hide the mark knowing he would try to look. Afterward as he's leaving to "get his house in order" he notices the powder on his fingers a knows that she is lying. He doesn't know why she's lying, but now the kid gloves are off and it gives him hope, and something to keep him from going too far when "getting his house in order".
That epic scene in Ep.1 when our leads go through the mirror. They are in freefall and since he shielded her he…
It connects them in a physical way. It is also why he can remember glimpses of his past life with her. He was younger and didn't touch the book, so it really was like a dream for him that he quickly dismissed. So seeing her gives him a bit of deja vu and like he is supposed to know her, but can't quire place her or his feelings for her. It's connecting them together until they can let the past go and move forward in a new direction...together.
Why is FL so shy and oblivious about being affectionate with her husband?
She has trauma from her past life with regards to marital duties. If your only experience was WTY and a miscarriage that almost killed you, I think you would also be nervous and reticent about things that lead to babies.
