Loserdom is what all great MLs entire when the viewer finally sees their "down bad" side for the FL. Ryu Sun Jae from Lovely Runner is an excellent example. This is not a bad thing this is an open inside joke amongst drama watchers.
Specifically when he orders heart themed lunch boxes for his entire team just so he can give his wife one. aka when he gets caught in 4K doing something a bit cheesy and is like "What? I don't know what you're talking about, this behavior is 100% normal and not at all out of character for me." To a friend or colleague.
He officially entered loserdom, and I'm here for it. Spoiler thoughts below for episode 6
I think it's past time that he tells the spokes person team that Hui Joo is his wife. The behavior at the MT alone needs to be cleared up because they all know he's a married man. But his reaction to Hui Joo falling, and him going full blown search and rescue can't be brushed off as him having training as his reaction was extremely emotional. For the preview I wonder if the reporter is going to get a page stating that Hui Joo is Sa Eon's wife and that's what is causing her disbelief. I just feel like the cat has got to come out of the bag for something next week. Also also...the twin thing. Is BSE a twin & they(the parents) or the real BSE got ride of him, or is he still out there somewhere? The photo was too tiny for me to clearly see if the twins were identical. But if the Baek family needed someone to replace their son and the closest fit was a twin I think they would have gotten rid of the spare as to not have a double of their "son" walking around. The other orphans....I wonder if the real BSE became a young serial killer and his victims were the boys who wandered into the villa like Ji Sang U did in the past. Or if they were also rich kid replacements.

If the child of political family was already showing major signs of psychopathy it wouldn't be far fetched to switch him out. And with adopted kids missing....they could be dead....or they could have just taken over the identity of an already existing child of a wealthy family.

I just normally hit the back 10secs and if the subs are out of sync I just try and remember the dialogue and let it be...I'll be rewatching this episode on VIKI anyway later in the week when it drops in nice crispy HD on my TV.

Let's see, Song Mo... "Secretly"(she's not dumb) protects Dou Zhao and her family members back to the Capitol over the course of multiple days. Making sure she has shelter and food that is tailored to HER and HER needs.
Protects not only her sister's reputation, but her and her entire family's safety by stopping her well-meaning, but stupid cousin's plan to get Dou Zhao out of her marriage.
Begs the emperor, who he's already on thin ice with after not agreeing with the emperor's proposed marriage to the princess, to grant Dou Zhao the right to refuse a marriage, legally without any push back from family or government. He did not ask to grant HIS marriage TO her, which he could have as the son of a Duke.
Proposes to her and leaves the choice in her hands so she doesn't have to answer to his face if she so chooses. aka no pressure proposal.
Trains his military to essentially become UEA, Uber Eats Army, because her favorite dish is in the Capitol, but her favorite place is in the country, with her Grandmother.(again this journey takes multiple days to make normally)
Comes up with a contrivance to ingratiate himself to her father, because they had previously been extremely antagonistic towards one another.
I know I'm missing some, buuuuuutt Sweetie, my Love...my Little Sugar Plum...imma need you to say yes to this man and put us all out of our misery.

I'm starting to see some finger pointing and blaming of events on female characters when in fact it was a male character's poor decisions getting them to that point. Keeping is generalized as it's multiple different situations & different characters. lots of "she didn't do enough" or "she's so evil" when it should be "she did the most" & "he's a spinless wonder & I'm shocked he can stand upright" So far every death & misfortune traces directly back to a male characters' choices after a female character puts in effort & thought into something only for the man to look at thar effort & dismiss it or underestimate it.
Okay lets say she straight tells him his mother is going to die, knowing no specifics whatsoever nor the exact…
She did warn him though, or tried to. Her man almost got run over by Song Mo's horse just to stop him at the city gate. Song Mo knew it was a trap and went in anyway. He knew that Dou Zhao knew something because he recognized her servant...he didn't care because he wanted to get to his mother. She went above and beyond with trying to warn him & then put a plan in place to extract him & his people as soon as she could. she interfered in another person's household of a higher rank just to save his ass & almost undid ALL her new life's work to heal him after his stubborn ass went in without back-up. So I would say that she in fact, did the most. She got beaten by her uncle because she risked her life & reputation to help him/heal him. What we are not going to do is blame the female characters for the male characters poor decisions.
