There's one thing I don't understand. The stepmother obviously comes from a good family, her father is an important…
Her father at the time was out of favor in the court and she was living in her mother's home town and making a living by selling things like food. Dou Zhao's mother asked her husband to check on her friend. Zhao's father got ill while studying for the exams and the stepmother was the one who took care of him. Because the family was not in favor they didn't have the same amount of staff/servants that they once had.
By the 22 I think we'll have the final express released. Well I'm praying for the 22 because that's my day off and if they drop the final episodes on Christmas eve or day I'm cooked as I have work on both.
Who is staying strong with me and waiting till Sunday to watch for the week
🤭🤭🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣It's cute that you think I'm that strong. I am but a weak willed human that buckles at the sound of the notification for a new episode dropping.
I don't remember ep 21 but 22 was the boat not a hotdog, 23 was the fire from the bandits, 24 was a kiss with…
The kiss emoji for episode 24 represents the kiss on horseback that we've seen teased since the first announcement of the show. Episode 25 looks like someone is going to get sick and possible fireworks like the signal Song Mo uses with his men to attack. Episode 26 looks like either a ledger of some kind or an official document. Episode 27 have dice so gambling of some kind or leaving something to fate Episode 28...most likely any emoji used would be too much of a spoiler or this is a transition episode Episode 29 Dou Zhao finds out she's pregnant. (if they include the scene of him seeking advice from the palace on how to be intimate with ones wife as to not hurt the baby I will actually loose my shit)
There have been at least 3 different ones so far. Which episode are you referring to? Once we get to Song Mo trying to court Zhao it's the actors duet that plays at the end of each episode.
and what an FL! I literally think this FL might dethrone Dream of Splendor FL in my books who is my ultimate costume…
Also the actress and director did an amazing job showing her fear to the audience, but keeping her calm and stoic for the people looking to her for guidance. And the scene where she can finally breakdown because he's there to catch her....yeah...cinema.
I don’t understand why they are suddenly making the FL coy. Doesn’t make sense to delay consummation and it’s…
If your only sexual experience in the past was Wei Ting Yu and your only experience of pregnancy was an extremely traumatic miscarriage that almost killed you...would YOU want to have sex? Even though she deeply loves Song Mo, she is scared shitless by her past.
I really wish there was a scene of her talking to Song Mo about the fact that in her "dream" she was married to WTY and everything that that implies. As in the novel portions that I've read Song Mo is an innocent when it comes to intimate acts between a man and a woman.
In short she has a weird mental block when in comes to "climbing that mountain".
I have some questions 😅. The ones behind Jiang Meisun's assassination killed Song Mo's mother too? Why is that?…
Yes they wanted to take out the entire Jiang Clan so there was no one left to look into the death of the Duke of Ding. At this time she was still trying to not overly interfere as she possibly wouldn't seem sane. Also she did try to stop him from entering a trap, I'm not sure she was yet aware that his mother had died. Mister Chen reported the changing of staff and that it seemed odd, and she put two and two together. She knows from experience that just because you try and stop something doesn't mean the person will live. Like with her own mother. She doesn't know enough to really meddle in the family of a Duke. He was also doing something important that she didn't want to pull him from too early. It was the right choice as the mother was already "dead" by the time her husband started to tie up loose ends by slowly offing the mother's servants one by one. We've found out what the combo was that killed the mother, but they haven't mentioned if it would have been reversable or not.
I think the director messed up because they wanted a cool close up of her feet, but with the arial shot they didn't…
Oh I watched that scene multiple times questioning the cinematographer and director. I think we forget that this is at it's core an MBC drama. I'm not expecting Oscar level technical skills her, hut I was hoping for a bit more attention to all aspects of the shoot, not just the romantic/tension building scenes. Cause those are great and detailed...I don't know if it's because they aren't able to take their time as they are outside or what, but yeah the difference was noticed and noted.
3 Times Park Do Jae can't beat the allegations: 1. He's the one that made Sa Eon answer the phone 2. He didn't…
Okay this is going to somehow come out sounding like I'm dissing the actor who plays Park, but South Korea is the plastic surgery capital of the world....& if the parents haven't seen their son in 20ish years...it's possible.
Also also. Lets say one of the 3 men is the real Baek Sa Eon, one of the twins, and one of the other missing orphans. If two of them are a pair of twins, plastic surgery would have changed any similarity they had to one another as well.
So 4 missing orphans, plus a spare twin...so 5 candidates for ML's real origin.
kdramas should go back to having 16-20 episodes because it sucks that there are so many good kdramas this year…
Trust me...if the writers for those 16 episode dramas were better there wouldn't be all the complaints about filler episodes and stupid plot twists just to fill time. Introducing a new villain with 4 episodes left etc. I can go on. It has become extremely rare that shows in the 16 episode range don't suffer for it. It also doesn't help that some of those 16 episode shows are 80 to 90 minutes long. If the writing is good and they don't over extend plot points 12 episodes is perfect. If the writing is bad it just feels like a waste...looking at you Wedding Impossible LOOKING AT YOU!
I really wonder how the rating system works on MDL. The rating was already increasing at high speed before ep…
Not everyone rates as they watch as most don't even realize you can rate each episode on the desktop/browser version. You can't see the episode guide on the mobile app. Also, with popularity comes the trolls. I'm not kidding when I say this. The more popular the show the more likely to attract people who will watch one episode call it over rated and rate it a 1 star and mark it as complete.
There was actually no reason for Hee Joo to be so near the rail. Nobody was crowding her and pushing her out of…
I think the director messed up because they wanted a cool close up of her feet, but with the arial shot they didn't get the actress close enough to the edge to make it make sense. I figure it had to do with actual safety...but I would just have that overhead shot shot on a stage with a blue screen under a replica deck/outlook...have the background actors be a little bit more chaotic. And also have and extra shot from her POV as people who are taller than her start to encroach on her personal space.
They showed it out of sequence on purpose because there is a chuck of time missing for the audience so we don't see the pusher yet. I already have seen who it is thanks to the, honestly frightening, skills of netizens with the zoom feature, and a memory for freckle placement. So the character who pushed her actually can be seen kind of herding her to that spot in a subtle way. Right after they push her they go back to trying to make order and blend in with the larger group. TBH i wish they wouldn't have included the arial shot at all...I understand why it's there, but they could have had the same effect they wanted to achieve by having the camera at shoulder level the punch up and angle down over her shoulder as she twists back to see how far she is from the ledge showing the drop from above. Have her turning to face forward again right she gets pushed. Once again struggling to type while talking about something that I talk with my hands about.

So do we think he's one of the missing orphans or Baek Sa Eon? Cause I don't know if mister stutter is giving cat cutter energy. Park Do Jae on the other hand is always calm and in the background. I think ML(Baek Sa Eon) is one of the twins from the orphanage, at the very least he's one of the missing orphans...and the orphan is only missing because he took over the identity of another person.
Not the director telling them to go find a place to practice....💋💋🧑🏻❤️💋👩🏻🧑🏻❤️💋👩🏻 https://youtu.be/vV7DnfAVDL0?si=OhUIXsui2LvFRhlq And the twins watching on in the background are so me...they are representing everyone.
