I don't know if I'm bored enough today, but a part of me wants to go back and start a slap counter for each episode...but slaps in episode 20 and 21...like do I count those as one slap or multiple individual slaps....🤔😉😏😇🤭🤣
song mo and his subordinate are so pretentious it's actually pissing me off, his father is bordeline corrupt official…
It's the ninja turtle effect. Gotta have that Raphael and Michelangelo impulsivity and childishness to balance out the Donatello and Leonardo intelligent and cautious energy.
Go back and watch any period drama where the lead male has military influence in someway and notice that the personality/dynamic of his team resembles the ninja turtle's dynamics to a T.
I feel like certain things still have to happen, kind of like how Marry My Husband portrayed the transmigration...injury…
Song Mo's twin righthand men...the elder twin was alive until that final battle, but he dies much earlier here along with a few men that survived until the final battle as well. Song Mo kept his younger brother and father alive...I think the twin and the other men's death were the counter balance to that choice. A life for a life. In the OG timeline Dou Zhao had a miscarriage the same year that Dou Ming is now having a miscarriage married to the same man her sister had been married to previously. There are certain deaths that can't be prevented...and I just don't think that the universe wants Wei Ting Yu to procreate. If you can think of more examples within the story please comment with the spoiler tag selected. 😊

i am confused, can someone explain ep.1 for me after the arrow shooted the ML and FL? they died after that shot
In the show they will just refer to this time(everything prior to them waking from nightmares as children) as a dream, as the Chinese censorship board doesn't allow for true rebirth storylines anymore. So productions have to slip in loopholes and comment on "dreams" a lot. He is a few years younger than her and doesn't remember the "dream" as well as she does as she grabbed the book and he did not. The reason he remembered was because a drop of his blood was left on her skin behind her ear, connecting him to her.(this is just a guess as to why he remembers other than them being fated)
After you watch episode 10 or 11 I would highly recommend revisiting the first two episodes and really pay attention to all the characters again. Because by that point you can see the shift in the timeline and how choices changed lives/loyalties etc.
I’m getting so annoyed why is she giving all her money away to her in-laws I can’t watch this, about to drop…
Flexed her wealth so hard that they all went running scared. They wont touch it, but they will invest with her.
She pretty much did an epic power move/UNO reverse card on the whole Song family. She is in fact so wealthy that no one in that family would have the slightest clue how to manage that amount of wealth. Just one of those chests is the budget for the WHOLE family for about a decade.
She has a ledger for her ledgers. It normally takes the Song family 2 days to review the family treasury and accounts....they have been trying to calculate her new income for 10 days straight non stop and have barely scratched the surface.
She is slowly working on building trust and connections to those working in the household. In the next scene she literally breaks down the entire family's dynamic and who is worth their attention and who can be an ally to her and Song Mo.
Im on ep 2 and I’m unsure if I should continue watching. I feel sadness, frustration and anger at the same time.…
The production is very high quality for the budget they had. And that quality hasn't slipped once since episode 1. The chemistry between the two leads is fire, and the director really pays attention to subtle details to really enhance the romantic tension of each scene they are in together. This one is going to have a lot of emotional ups and downs but as of now every down was worth it for the high point. Our FL is extremely smart and patient. She's not easily brought down now that she has a second chance. & the relationship with the ML improves at a proper pace and he is extremely considerate of her once he gets to understand her more. I don't want you to drop this too early and miss out on something great, but at the same time if these kind of family tensions are hard for you, you might want to wait until all the episodes are aired and you have a definitive idea of if the turmoil will be worth it.
What a great article. I've been geeking out over this production since episode one. I was hopeful that the quality would continue and boy...I was NOT disappointed by this team. From episode 1 to episode 21(most recently aired episode at the time of this comment) the quality hasn't dipped once. From the lighting, directing, cinematography, costumes, and performances, everything has remained what most can only achieve in the first few episodes before dropping off.
I end up watching each episode at least twice. The first time I get the words and story, as my Mandarin comprehension is atrocious. The second time I really get to focus on the performances from all the actors. They are giving such nuanced performances for those quiet moments. The attention to detail when crafting the interactions between the two leads is nothing short of breath taking.
This is quickly over taking all 2024 cdrama productions that I've seen this year. And 2024 was a really strong year in the costume dramas for me.
Again....yall the lighting...I'm gagged. It just never misses. The hand shots and moments of just a breath...the article really articulates everything that I would want to say about this drama's production. If for some reason you still haven't started watching this drama, let this article be the finally straw that was holding you back, just do it.
Wei Tingyu is a useless piece of trash. Such a coward on top of that. Like, he already saw how his sister treated…
I need everyone to notice the signs of an abusive relationship when looking at him. The self harm and begging after hurting the other person(emotionally or physically). The threatening their own life/safety to get their way etc. He makes all these grand promises, but never follows through, and then blames her for "caging him in". It's classic beginnings of an abusive relationship. The quicker you can spot the signs the better.
Father-in-laws are so freaking hilarious.🤣🤣💀 Dou is all happy having a spine that functions and being oblivious to his in-laws inner monologue. Dou: "Dou Zhao personal made this tonic for you." ☺️*proud papa moment...isn't my daughter amazing to have for a daughter-in-law, she knows medicine and business and accounting* Song: 😵💫🤢🤮*thinking he's just drunk poison*
Man thinks he's become a pig for slaughter and is two steps from death's door. That whole sequence was priceless with his servant responding yes when asked a rhetorical question about Song being the stupidest man alive.
Please write the second leads out of the story. Wasting screentime with bad acting.... Its like they have their…
Their investigation is directly related to the character development of the main leads. This is where BSE grew up before replacing the real BSE. Is he one of the twins or one of the other boys? Is his twin dead or is he team psycho. They are helping to uncover the wrong doings of both the female leads family, but most importantly the male lead's family. It's not actually taking up too much time imo.
what I would like to know is the trajectory of that fall. how the hell did she survive the fall from that cliff…
(Giving the production the biggest benefit of the doubt, throwing most logic out the window, but going based off of my knowledge of objects falling from high places.) There are branches and then slopes that would have carried her further down the mountain. So lots of rolling. It's not a straight shot down from that area. And depending on terrain they might be dealing with multiple splits where she could have rolled left or right. I would have thought the best logic would to be heat sensor drones or helicopter to narrow down the search area. Also starting by simply repelling straight down would have been my personal choice. I would understand their type of search more if the didn't know the location of WHERE she fell/went missing. But they do know so I have to just play dumb to not laugh/get eye twitchy when thinking about these search and rescue professionals.
I think it's past time that he tells the spokes person team that Hui Joo is his wife. The behavior at the MT alone…
If Ji Sang U told them about the villa and toys, but not about the cat situation....yeah it's quite possible that he has linked the two in his mind and suspects something like a murder cover up. As he has no family that would have looked for him as well, he's taken it upon himself to look into what happened to the other boys. If he thinks he's responsible for enticing them to go to the villa, but not giving them a warning he might feel guilty. He mentioned that he waited until now because his channel finally was strong enough(aka had a large enough audience) to get eyes on this information and not be outright dismissed and brushed off by the public. The only reason he's doing this investigation with the reporter is because they approached him and he saw it as an even bigger platform to out what happened to these kids.

The whole village/province doing a 180 now that the marriage is in the bag. 🤭😇
