So in case it's not clear for people. Next weeks episodes will be flashing back to May 3rd, Im Sol's 19th birthday. Edit: or May 4th...we shall see...lets just say whomever is in charge of continuity on this production is not giving the level of neurodivergence this line of work requires...๐ฎโ๐จ๐ง
so this has got to be the biggest joke. I went to hit save of the ep11 update only for my wifi/internet to stop working...it didn't work at all last night so I've been extremely delayed in getting things updated. ๐ I need to leave for work....I am just ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ I use my laptop for the discussion because I add a lot of links within & trying to do that on a cellphone is a headache. ๐ซ I did not just spend and hour of my morning double checking things just for the internet to crap out 30 seconds before publishing...I need to go.
They first kiss in episode 26. It's a good kiss scene. The only other kiss I've seen from the main leads is episode…
I've watched shows where they don't kiss until episode 34, but those are the epic love story slow burns with lots and lots of tension and story building. This one is definitely a family drama which I knew going in. It's just I didn't realize how much I would dislike the family member they are keeping a main focus on throughout the show.
They first kiss in episode 26. It's a good kiss scene. The only other kiss I've seen from the main leads is episode 28. I'm stuck on episode 35 as the plot has just gone off the rails into something that I should care about but don't.
I am genuinely trying my best to power through these last two episodes, but I really don't care about the mom…
I have it on 2x speed and am skipping lots of parts with the 10second skip button and still am having trouble caring what happens at this point. I realize that the whole story is about the relationship between the FL and her mother, but I have not once been able to care about the mother. She maybe MaYbE listened ONCE to her daughter's boundaries when it comes to her work, but it was just once. She rarely shows any empathy whatsoever and steamrolls everyone around her. There isn't enough growth throughout the show over the course of the 37 episodes to be anxious for her well being. There should have been a turning point at around episode 18 or so, but there wasn't. The only time she even remotely seemed like a caring person was with the ML, and even then it didn't feel genuine imo. She is always and I mean ALWAYS causing problems. Even when she gets sick and acts like an animal isolating themselves to go and die, she is nothing but an inconvenience for her family. Instead of communicating she leaves and pulls her family from their responsibilities to track her down. She always has to be the center of attention and I thought I would get over it, but 35 episodes in and I'm about to throw in the towel.
actually in the original timeline I'm 100% taxi driver also the one who pushed sunjae off the balcony bcs original…
the pool would have killed him on impact imo. the hotel is more than 5 stories & he was in the penthouse. water just added, but he would have several broken bones & punctured organs from the fall.
I was talking about the actress' response not Im Sol. Im Sol would work 3 jobs for SunJae. Hye Yoon is not about that life. She said "no dead beats in my relationship"
could someone recommend some kdramas where leads just simply don't like but WORSHIP each other...like lovely Runner…
You Are My Glory(low angst PG-13spice) Love Me Love My Voice(fluffy no angst slow burn think G-Spice) Amidst A Snowstorm of Love(No angst, slow burn PG/PG-13spice) Hidden Love(low angst PG-13 spice) When I Fly Toward You(low angst PG/PG-13 spice) (wishing I had my laptop on me so I could pull up my reference list) also just reread your comment...non of the above are kdramas ๐ฅบ๐คกmy bad also going through your watched list you've seen most of the kdramas I would recommend for this style.

someone made a good point that during OG timeline Kim Young Soo was able to over power Sun Jae because he had been drinking/on anti anxiety meds. So when he came in with a chloroform cloth SunJae couldn't fight back. Then in 2nd altered timeline he wasn't on anti anxiety meds nor was he drinking, because he was looking forward to Im Sol's arrival, so he was able to fight him. Young Soo went to plan B a knife.
Also so glad Bridgerton is doing a half binge drop on a Thursday and not later/earlier in the week. Cause my colleagues will be spoiling the shit out of that show by the next business day.
I was enjoying episode 11 too much to take notes on dates and things during the first viewing so I'll update the spoiler date discussion later tonight after my work meeting.
I should not watch this show when other people are trying to sleep in the house. I'm just giggle screaming the whole damn time. And in episode 11 Tae Sung had me screaming at my screen "STOP IT...MAKE IT STOP....NOOOOOOOO...DEAR GOD WHEN WILL THE PHOTOSHOOT END?" goosebumps and chicken fingers. ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I hope we get an explination why the killer is targeting Im Sol and they just write it off as random.
A lot of killers have fixations. All it takes for some is simply seeing them once and deciding they are who they want. Sometimes it's just simply convenient, other times it's after methodical planning.
Spoilers for at least up to 18, do not read if you have been enjoying the show. I don't want my negative opinions to interfere with your personal enjoyment of this work. Seriously collapse this tab and live on in bliss.
I really wanted to love this drama till the end, but the logic isn't logic-ing. The general in the palace who is raped by the empress dowager is then blackmailed with his rape? and then he kills the actual emperor....okay sure Jan. I just thought that HE of ALL people would have rather died than be so disloyal and dishonorable, but hey. The logic doesn't make any sense once they start talking palace politics outside of an Uncle needing to stay away in case people think he wants the throne. T he emperor never had any power, and it lacks any kind of urgency from anyone. The Empress dowager has enemies in her chamber, but he's too chicken shit to kill HER, but he's okay with killing the ACTUAL EMPEROR and nephew of his MASTER????????? Even knowing that this bitch RAPED HIM, KILLED HIS ADVISOR, AND WANTS TO KILL HIS MASTER. OKAY OKAY OKAY OKAY. Nope nope can not begin to nope enough. All i know is at this point if this "disciple" isn't killed by someone soon I'm going to be extremely disappointed. I know most if not all of ML's disciples will die...I knew that going in that this was not a HEA type of show. But by god did people forget to mention that there are major nonsensical plot points that we have to bypass to move on to the actual story. I had paused episode 18 about 6 to 7 minutes in....this fucker just murdered the empress and cut out her baby....cool cool cool....straight to hell.
Episode 13 spoilers: The emperor's mother is extremely rapey. The implied sexual assault was out of nowhere in the story. I know we needed to check-in on what's happening in the palace but damn...all ML "kids" are just going through it. It made my stomach hurt, not gonna lie. I just don't do well with this type of story if I don't know it's going to happen. Having the warning beforehand gets me mentally ready. I was not mentally ready.
