wtf is wrong with you this comment is so disgusting
a 36 was cast to play a character from their early 20s to their mid 40s...seems like a perfect mid point to me. Also the actor playing the boy had to gain 30kgs because the CHARACTER is cubby...it's an entire plot point of the damn show. you are so shallow, it's probably best you stick to shows with no plot or character development because apparently it goes right over your head.
The budget was really high for this show so I hope the costs didn't outweigh the overall performance of the show. I'm not really great at phrasing that. I'm used to using box office termers, but with streaming we rarely get the statistics we need to evaluate a shows efficacy. I'm really curious what all the executives are thinking atm. With the WGA and SAG-AFTRA still going strong in America, they(Disney) might be more inclined to further develop joint projects outside of the North American/European market.
I have the last episode and ten minutes of episode 15 left to watch.
Looking back on the show....it feels drawn out and not in the good tension building/vibe setting type of way. Maybe it's because I was disappointed in the "twist", that looking back a lot seems wasted. I know this has more to do with genre than anything, but it truly didn't need to be 16 episodes. Sometimes it felt fresh and modern, but when it comes down to it this is very much giving 2011 vibes. 2011 dramas that I watched started great and then just petered out in the homestretch. No matter how much I vibe with the lead characters, something in the writing/overall plot loses me in those last 2-5 episodes.
Just like someone in the comments said before, it was supposed to be a delicious souffle, but it didn't quite…
As far as i'm aware there are two other stories within this world. 'Timing' the student who can stop time's story. And 'Bridge'...which I think, based on other comments, is a continuation of Moving's stories. I haven't been able to find the english translation for either yet. but i've only just started looking tbh.
one thing that we can take from this is recover ability rules y'all!!! even frank still alive after that mess,…
the only thing we haven't seen is a clean decapitation and burning of the body parts. As we see that as long as the body parts stay somewhat attached it will heal back together. But removal seems permeant or at least very slow regeneration. aka Joo Won's eyeball. Like is this full Deadpool regrowth or twilight vampire logic?
i seriously thought that doosik as soon as he sees his wife and son will breakdown and go on his knees and mihyun…
The man has been, and i mean this lovingly, awkward as fuck since day one...aint no way. Showing affection/expressing emotion has always been difficult for him. I think the reaction suited his character. Add on not really having good physical touch after over a decade...I think how he reacted made sense in my mind. The man's emotions are as deep as the ocean, but just like the ocean, you can't see the depths from the surface.
the last 3 episode was full of fight scene and i'm kinda bored watch it. and the ending seems bit rushed
They definitely could have trimmed some of the fight scenes up a bit. I think that they are leaving a lot of room for future development. They honestly have time, as the younger actors could easily play younger even when they get to their 30s and the parents will still have more than enough wiggle room from their characters actual ages. Aka the young actors are playing younger and the adult actors are playing a decade plus older than they actually are.
Just like someone in the comments said before, it was supposed to be a delicious souffle, but it didn't quite…
please use the spoiler tag. One, because these are spoilers. Two, because it's a long comment. There is a review section that you can put these in without needing to use a spoiler tag.
Could anyone read what it said in Elias' file other the US Army? My dyslexic ass always struggles with other people's cursive writing. Did it list his powers at all?
Everything you will like, enjoy the ride, the ending is open and there is a post credit scene hinting for more…
Doo Shik is reunited with Mi Hyun and Bong Seok. Bong Seok is in "hiding" once again with his mother. Hee Soo is in college. Bong Seok is helping people while keeping his identity secret. Hee Soo sees him in a yellow raincoat, hers, on the news. They aren't together, but both confessed to liking each other, and continue to like/root for the other. Lets not forget it took his parents a better part of a decade to have their first "happy ending".
This is actually more than we got in the webtoon as he just walked into the house without us seeing anything...so...better than nothing?????? I'm not on my phone so insert shrug emoji here.
