That doesn't explain why we have Feiyu dressed as TXJ and have arcs with only TXJ in them. But with the ban on tropes such as reincarnation, maybe they'd make it more like a time travel or au trope? We never know... I'm up for anything tbh. And TXJ might appear there.
My explanation, which was formed after reading yours, is that like you said, and this happens in the book as well, Mo Ran tends to lose himself when he's hazy (like when he's asleep) and reveals his 33 year old self in the present at times (like when he first woke up in the morning next to CWN after he broke his healing array and had to take care of CWN all night). So maybe it could be one of those scenes?
But I love this scene because both of them are wearing something like black collars (kinky) and the way Feiyu is looking at the other is just sooo... hot! And this makes me think... maybe the collar points towards the Jincheng lake arc or the Immortal Bird arc (forgot the name of those immortal bird ppl lol).... idk how it points to that, but instincts say it's from one of those arcs.
And no way am I ignoring any rambles XD.... I legit visit MDL (immortality only) 5-6 times a day just to check if there are any new ramblings. And I am going equally crazy :')

Aweeee... My post-reading ch 279-depression lasted for a good two days. I cried for an hour straight and didn't shed a tear after, but my mood was off until I finished the rest of the book!
He truly deserved better! Especially after reading his past just a few chapters prior, it just aggravated the emotional aspect of his death even more because he dies for what? He suffered enough back then, and when he was finally finding his happiness with CWN, this happens....
But rest assured, I am sure it'll get better once u read the remaining 24 chapters (which I think u might have finished by now).

Exactly! It's Mo Ran doing it and not TXJ which just doesn't make sense because of the personalities they hold in the book. A dream scene...? That makes a bit more sense tbh... I guess we just got to wait until the drama airs... which we don't know when... :')
I have read this one article/post that described Feiyu's psychological condition during filming. He is a method actor and he once said in an interview that every time he filmed as TXJ, he wouldn't eat well and was surrounded by negative energies.

There are way too many memes on CWN being a piece of wood which just ruined the seriousness of that revelation to me, but I can't imagine what I'd feel after finding out that I'm not human but a piece of bark (0.0)
I don't know what they're saying, and I know only half of the dubbed dialogues' original script, but their reaction proves the intensity and boldness of the script and it's making me feel all sorts of fluffiness XDXDXD

I totally agree with you! It is a fact that everyone will have certain expectations from the cast but having prior opinions regarding their acting without even watching their performance in this particular drama is kind of pointless. It'll only lead to baseless debates. Everyone is evolving and no matter how good or bad an actor was in the past, doesn't mean they'll continue to be the same way in all works. We all just gotta trust the casting director and the production team to do the work as we sit back and anticipate the drama in a positive atmosphere.

same!!! I'd love a newer and fresher cast that could most possibly surprise us playing both XL and HC... there's a chance that it could be the drama's downfall, but it can also be it's saving point.
