I honestly don't think there was THIS level of anticipation for The Untamed. The Untamed sort of became a sleeper…
I was one of the people waiting for WOH, but yes, there wasn't this amount of anticipation in the comment section lol.... it was how it is with Fenghuo Liujin (Winner Is King) now. HaoYiXing is just a whole other level of excitement! XD
I heard through the grapevine that this drama has been shelved and that it will not be released. Is that true?
Everything is rumours... let's not believe them until they officially announce anything. And HYX is a very high budget drama... they ought to release it sooner or later. It might be temporarily put on hold, but we are bound to watch it one day!
The movie was engaging, the ML was a total scum but I CANNOT hate him ahhh... He goes through a hard time, we can see that, and he isn't the most respectable character either... But he's human.
The characters were amazing! The plot was decent and keeps you watching until the end, the script was alright, and the movie as a whole is worth giving a shot.
OHMYGOSH XDXDXDXD So I watched the anime long ago and I am not really used to JMovies... watched a couple of JDramas…
Holy shit this just got funnier.... and I use this instead of the word 'cringe' like how others used it because this is my first time watching such an acting style.... it's legit like they're trying to copy the anime expression by expression :'D
OHMYGOSH XDXDXDXD So I watched the anime long ago and I am not really used to JMovies... watched a couple of JDramas and very few movies so I'm not sure if the acting style and speech delivery in this movie is normal for Anime to Live-action adaptations, but I'm just 10 mins in and the acting is cracking me up so much XDXDXD Still gonna continue watching cause they're all adorable XD
That was one wholesome show for me! I loved how they dissed the BL Fandom as a whole, loved the portrayal of how they struggle in the industry, and love how they did everything while keeping us engaged with their healthy af relationship! I am not saying it is a perfect show. It had some major setbacks and plot holes, lacks character depth for the side characters, but if you are looking for just some entertainment, this show will provide you with a lot of that and more.
Can people just chill out a bit, please... if you aren't watching or dislike the series, you are free to leave some constructive criticism... Please don't make it unpleasant for yourself or anyone on this forum. It is just a movie. It is not going to change the world or the way you live. Ignore it or watch it, why leave so much hate?
Isn't that wound originally supposed to be on the shoulder ? I see they're treating us...
Not really the shoulder but according to the book, CWN covered MR entirely with his body so it was more towards the back... but my guess for why he has the wounds on the front is that it was so deep that it tore from the back to the front...? :') Or maybe they won't show the coffin scene cause it's too 'gay' according to them and CWN in the show just saved MR differently. Whatever it is, if I ever see that scene with CWN struggling to treat his own wounds instead of calling for help, I'll break :)
Just finished part 2 of episode 4 and I have never seen something more consensual yet romantic out of a Thai BL so far! This is such an upgrade from its counterparts and just because of the way Hin respects Gene's decision to hide his orientation and telling his friends off for him, and because of Sib respecting consent so much, this drama has climbed up the ladder a lot for me. Of course, there's more to a drama than just the ethical level of its content, but with the main issues addressed, it has already garnered the affinity of many, if not most, viewers.
Love it so far! Drunk Gene is a total doll and I just want to squish his cheeks! XD
I am guessing, they will make love Triangle, both Wanning and Moran will be in love with Shi Mei...
That will be going completely going against CWN's character traits. It is highly unlikely they'd do that because Meatbun made sure the romantic relationships in the drama aren't different from the book. But... you need know what they might do...
It kinda roughly translates to flames of fire flowing like gold but i rly love that it’s the portmanteau of…
It might be hard for you to understand the relevance and meaning of the title if u haven't read the book, but like @kit grouke mentioned, Feng Huo tickets (a kind of reform made in the political scene of the novel) and Ziliujin (a type of fuel used in this book as an element of steampunk) are a huge part, and can even be called the driving force of the novel apart from the love between the leads.
Me too! I've read Sana Joannes comment about it and I'm really worried about the plot. If Sana is right, the reduced…
Ohmygosh! That's the best news I have heard all week! Thanks... gives me so much hope!
And I really do hope the censor board thought 'Normal people won't understand the politics happening here so let's censor it!' instead of 'Even the lamest of people will understand what's going on with ChangGu here so let's censor it!'....
I personally don't mind the new title that much, but less episodes can very easily result in the story having…
Yes yes I am totally fine with the new title!
Its the reduction of episodes that I am worried so much about.... And it's most probably cause of censorship since they filmed enough for 45 episodes (so it wasn't a budget cut like how it was for WOH)... As long as there are no plot holes, I am fine if the episodes feel rushed but I hope they do a decent job with the editing :(

HOB is an AMAZING novel! On par with 2ha for me but opinions differ!
Then you can read the rest of 2ha through the edited MTL which somehow manages to keep the essence of the book: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e_jMahwJZ7ivrcidUMX1goZ_sIOFUfYE/view?usp=sharing
You can read Yuwu, another masterpiece by Meatbun (the author of 2ha) through the link in this: https://kisskh.at/discussions/hao-yi-xing/61469-yuwu-stains-of-filth-by-meatbun-translation

The response is indeed very vague and unsatisfactory :( This just angers me even more.
Please do let us know the tone of the response to your mail and keep us updated if possible! And I'll try my best to show my support every way I can!
