I have read only Sha Po Land and Tian Ya Ke by Priest so far and I read both of them before the dramas are out and I genuinely like the depth and intricacy of the characters in SHL more than in TYK despite TYK being the original work.... Don't get me wrong, I LOVE TYK! I loved the characters and how Priest wrote them, but SHL just added on to the charm of the already existing characters and that worked for me.
That being said, I am veryyyy scared to check out Guardian... I'm afraid I might not like it as much as I would have before I watched SHL and TU... just a speculation, but it is keeping me from watching it :')
And a very informative and preparative article for those who loved the dramas and are contemplating on whether to read the book! It'll help them decide and set their expectations right!
For the ones who read the novel, I'm back with another question that's been nagging me.When MoRan went to the…
I don't remember if this is the explanation from the book, but at this point of time, despite TXJ's soul being in Mo Ran's body, the present Mo Ran still hasn't committed any sin but the Sin Measuring ruler was probably confused with his contradicting souls... and (I hope you finished reading the book, if not, don't read the next part)
it might also have to do with a part of Chu Wanning's soul that he left in Mo Ran from before he passed away in Taxian Jun's time.
Why is reading the novel bad? I find that I love something much more when I read the novel first and then it gets…
The novel is AMAZING to say the least (for most people at least), and I really think reading the novel before watching the drama will help you connect with the characters more and might help you make more sense of the undertones in the drama and the script. Of course, this works for me and doesn't mean it will for you, but I hope you read the novel sometime for sure, doesn't matter if it's before or after the drama airs!
We now can I only get 5 bl dramas per year and 2 every 6 months. We already got 2 BL in the first half of 2021.…
Just read it! I believe that you can catch the undertones in the script and cinematography of the drama better when you read the book and know it's essence! If you are up for it, read it and complete it before the drama airs! :)
Ok so I just started the novel 2 days ago (I'm at chapter 60) and I don't understand how are they going to adapt…
Just replied to a comment above with the same answer, but I heard Meatbun had made a clause in her contract that none of the CP's should be changed in the Live Action. So we need not worry much and can trust her... (I think this piece of information was mentioned in the translation of Yuwu)
Just finished reading 2ha. I'm so glad I discovered this novel. Reading the novel was such a beautiful journey!…
HEY! Glad u love the book! If you want something equally or more painful with a plot just as beautiful, you can checkout Meatbun's other work - Yuwu! It is very underrated but a worthy read!
I find it funny how 80% of non-novel readers used to be hesitant to read 2ha for the fear that they won't be able…
IFKR! I have noticed this too! I have been stalking this page for over 9 months now and the change in the comments here is quite hilarious ngl.... very AMUSING! And because of how much everyone are discussing the book, I am rereading it as well XD
