Great, just great overall. The second C-drama which I managed to watch till the last episode this year (first one is JoL) after dropping a few other dramas.
Read some reviews that rate this drama highly. But can I ask, if I am not an esports fan, will I still find the…
Yes? You might find this drama interesting. I am more of a MMORPG gamer and never into shooting games but find this very entertaining. The two MLs started to meet in game near the end of episode 1 btw.
Watched till Episode 4 and this reminds me about The Vigilantes in Masks / Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei like literally…
Both dramas have a team of 4. SHYZM has Li Ge Xiao (mastermind, similar skill to Zuo Qing Ci), Yan San Niang (thief, excellent qinggong, similar skill to Fei Kou Er), He Xiao Mei (doctor, knows how to change appearance well, similar skills to ZQC and FKE) and Chai Hu (skilled in martial arts but doesn't contribute much in plannings, similar skill with Chen Man Qing and Yin Change Ge). The difference being ZQC didn't know martial arts.
Both started with rumors about the government losing something (although it was a fake news in SHYZH). The mastermind then gathered all the other team members and started their journey to steal the lost item. The whole plan included the mastermind being captured by the anti-protagonists and one of the members with his/her appearance changed to match that of one of the anti-protagonists.
Watched till Episode 4 and this reminds me about The Vigilantes in Masks / Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei like literally all the time . The team and the plot for first few episodes were pretty similar but with sufficient differences to make this enjoyable. Couldn't help but to compare both dramas.
Just started this and on episode 3 so far. And have a few questions on the plot and hoping to see if someone can clear those doubts of mine...
Episode 1: Jian Bu Zhi stated that he knew who survived during the battle with Wang Hua through the notes his dad left, but his dad was dead during the battle. So how could there still be notes by his dad about that battle?
Episode 3: How does Jian Bu Zhi knew that he is Jian Jin Huan's son? He stated that he lost all his memories once he woke up after the battle and only walked to battleground by chance. Even if he was holding a jade with the letter "Jian" carved on it, that is not enough to make him think that he is Jian Jin Huan's son?
Please do not reply these questions with any spoilers (if it involves any). Thanks!
Yep, those are the songs for the drama. I am looking for those instrumental music, like the one played in background when Wu Zhu jumped off the cliff in episode 1.
Searched and found nothing on Youtube, only 一念一生,余年 and 最冷的一天 (Cantonese opening) are available on Youtube. Found some on bilibili but they are with background noises.
Anyone has any idea where to look for this drama's bgm? I've been looking for them for quite awhile but couldn't get some good quality ones (i.e. those without background noises from the drama).
They are two dramas of different genres, so can't really compare both dramas. JoL has the story from its novel author Mao Ni and screenplay by Wang Juan while this has its story/outlines by Wang Juan and screenplay by a few other screenwriters (afaik). So you can actually find some similarities between JoL and this such as the comedy/ some plot twists.
JoL focused more on politics/ Fan Xian's character development while YB focused more on friendship/ teamwork. Both have plots about the main character(s) solving "mysteries" though. This is more lighthearted as compared to JoL imho. Both are very enjoyable for me nonetheless.
