The members for this show are not fixed (except for, maybe He Jiong and Sa Bei Ning), although many of them have the "regular member" title. The title only meant that they appear in more episodes than the "guest", but not all.

Yep, Xing Feng helped Chang An to escape. Based on the poem on the fan, Chang An is still alive. I don't really rmb what happened to his "emperor" arc of story. However, I did rmb that he left the army to save Wan Mei near the end, so maybe he would continue with that arc after he recovers from the injuries? Gongzi never like Chang An imho, even worse after he knew that Chang An is a royalty. Partly because he is jealous and partly because he now has a rival for his empire I supposed.

Been his fan since I watched CP3 ten years back then! One of the main reasons why I am in love with c-dramas

That CAST!! If only Liu Shi Shi and Wallace Huo are in this too, this would be a complete CP3 casts

Gongzi's grandmother and mother were played by the same actress. The lady with white hair in episode 10 is Gongzi's grandmother and the one in the flashback in Episode 15 is his mother. As for the last question, if my memory serves me right, the lady was someone who babysits Gongzi for many years since he was young, or his wet nurse.

There's no Chinese Paladin 2. As for Chinese Paladin 1, nope, not necessary to watch that first. CP1 and CP3 are both different stories although CP1 took place 50 years after CP3 ends.
