Oh, and I was really impressed with Yamada James Takeshi as Yuzuru. I'm sad he hasn't been in anything recently. I see he doesn't have a lot of main roles, I hope he didn't get discouraged and give up acting. He's not just handsome - he was very compelling to watch!
This was great! I found this one more artistic than most fluffy BL movies or shows. The pace is a bit slow (even the direction and long-shots) but I think that's on purpose to reflect the "slowness" of their relationship. It was almost painful at times the way they didn't communicate. And Yuzuru continually being called "slow" was perfect, too. He was the very definition of "himbo" lol.
Wow, I can't believe how they made a full story in just 12 minutes! Though I wish there was more of an ending, after all that build-up. I hope they make more of this story so we can see them together.
I know they have The Tuxedo together, but I want more of THIS story, haha.
I agree with all of this. Episodes 10 and 11 made me angry - and then he barely explained it? I thought the reason…
I don't know how you feel about the second couple, but I think the show would have been A LOT better if they focused more on the main couple. That way they could have had time to properly tell their story and make it make sense. The side couple should have been a quarter of the show, not half.
I was SO tempted to fast forward through their scenes. I did NOT care about them at all. The insta-love on the…
Every time she dramatically looked sad when they talked about love, I was like, "I don't care, move on." I thought we'd get some sad backstory for her, not that she had some intense, creepy crush on one of her regulars. A regular who was in a relationship with a man.
Also, what was with her reaction when he drunkenly called her his sister-in-law? That was so bizarre. I actually didn't think he did anything wrong!
Not a favorite, and I didn't like the second couple - I was annoyed, actually. I fast forwarded thru a lot of…
I was SO tempted to fast forward through their scenes. I did NOT care about them at all. The insta-love on the bartender's side was almost creepy. Like, talking about moving in and calling the laundry-mat his "home" after one day.
They could have left episodes ten and eleven out. Fu Li Gong now cares about Cheng Ze Shou's father's words and…
I agree with all of this. Episodes 10 and 11 made me angry - and then he barely explained it? I thought the reason he broke up with him was going to be something more dramatic, but in the end it was just "I thought he'd be happier without me." Like... WHAT? And he didn't even ask him about it or give him a choice. And the way he broke up with him too was so cruel. Just yelling it at him the way he had yelled his confession of love. Like, damn. He definitely should have had to fight to get him back.
I just finished. The main couple were cute, but I just did NOT care about the secondary couple. Every time it cut to them I had to hold myself back from skipping ahead. And what's with all the open-mouth kisses???? Laundry-mat Dad especially - it felt like he was attacking the poor guy's face.
I just finished episode 5 and GASPED OUT LOUD when Aaron and Hank walked in asking for a divorce. It's past midnight and I can't stay awake for another episode, but ISTG if they mess with one of the best Taiwanese couples..... I WILL RIOT. These two better work their shit out!
But didn't "The Miracle of Teddy Bear" have a sad ending?? That makes me worried.
Oh, thank you for letting me know! Usually it doesn't matter to me, but lately I can't handle sad or upsetting endings. The world is so crazy right now that I just want to escape into TV and see nice things, haha.
