The Youngjoo - Jaewoo loveline looked so forced and unnecessary
I agree. It was out of nowhere, and it made me a little uncomfortable. If it had been built naturally, I would have been good with it, but it wasn't. Neither of them showed any signs they liked each other, and Jaewoo even said, "I don't know if I love you in the same way or different way than I love Haeng Seon..."

If a man can't tell the difference between how he feels about you and you sister... maybe don't jump into a romantic relationship with him???

Same for me. I stopped at about episode 7 due to being busy, then couple weeks later restarted on viki. While…
Yeah, I started watching because I saw a lot of Rain/Payu edits on YouTube and I was intrigued. They're the only reason I was watching! So when the second half started, I was bummed we wouldn't see them anymore. Definitely not a show I want a sequel for, or one I would watch again.

I just finished, and I feel like I had to force myself to do it. The show would have been WAY better if they told both stories at the same time and let the relationships develop together. Instead we got two different shows, which felt really weird. Even the opening credits changed in the second half.

I'm halfway through episode 3, and the only reason I haven't dropped it is because of how pretty the boys are, and how electric their chemistry is. The story is very, very dumb. I have no idea why either of them like each other. They haven't earned this set-up at all.

There's also a lot of non-consensual intimacy, which... yikes. And Payu keeps telling Rain to change for him. "I like boys who are polite. I like boys who do this, etc." Then you DON'T like Rain, because he isn't and he doesn't!

I'm on episode four and experiencing some serious Second Lead Syndrome. The main actor is doing a good job, but I'm just such a sucker for the longtime friend with a crush trope, and the second lead is such a lil' puppy dog, I'm a goner!

It wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, but it was 1000000% better than Fish Upon the Sky, so I'll take it!

I think they probably could have cut some of the business/violent stuff and gave more time to Chopper and Ben (I loved those characters, but wanted to know why they wanted to date each other. We didn't really have any indication that Ben liked Chopper until all of a sudden he did).

I really like Pond and Phuwin as an acting team, I hope they get something good in the future. I think they're more suited to a romcom than a dramatic show like this.

And don't forget he's also tall. Almost 6 ft, I think. I would melt right away.

Jank UK falls in love first and only then does he know who she really is??? I find it disgusting what they did…
I think they were trying to make it like he really did recognize her deep down, and that's why he fell for her. He even said it later that he might have always known. As I was watching, I just assumed he was attracted to her because some part of his subconscious knew it was her.

I get the feeling they had a different story in mind before Jung So-Min announced she wasn't coming back. I think they had to to re-write some stuff to make up for some storyline involving her, and that's why the middle dragged on so much. It started strong, but got wayyyyyyyyy to repetitive. The story went around in circles, and even some of the same storylines from Part 1 were repeated.

It's too bad because I love these characters, and have a lot of fun with them. I finished it because of the characters, not the story.

Title Between Us
Hey! I want to watch it because I loved WinTeam in UWMA, but I have to pay 11€ so I can watch it only one time.…
Hmmmm.... I think it depends on how much you love WinTeam. Their story is good, and the friendships they have with the original characters are great, too. There are a lot of sweet moments, and there is a lot of skinship. A LOT more than we got from them in UWMA.

That's the positive. The negative is that half the show is taken up by side couples that you probably won't care about. There are two new couples that were boring, and then there are DeanPharm and ManowPruek.

So, I'd say the story with WinTeam is worth it, but all the other stuff isn't. I'm sorry if I didn't answer your question, haha.

First, get rid of the two side couples no one cared about. Bee was barely a character himself, and he got a romance?…
Hahaha, yes! I know Team is supposed to be obsessed with snacks, but they could have left it at a few jokes and that's it.

I absolutely agree. It was weird that they went from essentially being eff-buddies to Team being shy around Win about even a cheek kiss. I don't need them to go at it every episode, but the regression was strange.

And yes, if they had gotten together sooner, we could have seen what they're like as a couple. And if the show needed conflict, they could have focused on Win's desire to go public, and Team's fear of everyone knowing. It was barely touched on in the show, but that would be such a huge issue. I was hoping for a moment when Team held his hand in public or something, but it never came. There was one moment where he kissed his cheek and said Win was more important than his fear, and I was like, "YES, EXPLORE THAT!!!!" but that was it.

I didn't care about the new side couples at all. I wish that time could've been spent on their friendships and the existing side-couples. Like I said before, I didn't need more Dean/Pharm romance, but going deeper into their friendships would have been really nice.

First, get rid of the two side couples no one cared about. Bee was barely a character himself, and he got a romance? I liked the concept of the older brother / friend story with the game, but that's for a different drama, not this one.

Second, focus more on the established characters, like Manow, Preuk, Dean and Pharm. I don't need Dean/Pharm's romance retold, as we already saw that. I would have liked more scenes with their friendships. The friendship of Team, Pharm and Manow was one of my favourite parts of UWMA, and I was hoping to see more in this show.

To that point, give Manow and Preuk an actual story. I had no idea why they liked each other. Did the writers and producers think BL fans wouldn't want their story because they're straight? We're not so close minded!

Also, get rid of the ABC squad. We didn't need them. The fact that Team told them about his feelings for Win before he told Manow and Pharm actually made me a bit angry.

And lastly, don't wait so long to have Team and Win finally become a couple. I wanted to see how they handled BEING a couple, not them go around in circles again and again, not confessing. The 'conflict' of this was drawn out and frustrating. I wish they could have found a different way to bring conflict to the story, and then have TeamWin deal with it TOGETHER as a couple.

I think the show could have easily filled 12 episodes without all the nonsense, and just fleshed out the existing characters, their romantic relationships, and their friendships.

It wasn't what we all hoped it would be, but it also wasn't a bad show. I enjoyed it. I found myself smiling a lot at the sweet moments, and what I loved about them in UWMA was still there. I do, however, have thoughts on how this show could have been great:

I'm halfway through the show (loving it!) but the thing I appreciate the most is that this show is not sponsored by Lays! lol All that product placement with Team annoyed me so much in UWMA.

Ohhhh, interesting. Do you know who's life it's based on? Also, I'm glad it got leaked and they had to change it. That would have been way too over the top sad.

Okay I refuse, I absolutely refuse to accept that revelation, I'm not a hardcore shipper, BUT your conclusions…
I agree. I'm happy with who she ended up with, but Jung Hwan basically disappeared in the last two episodes, and we never got to know how his life turned out. Like, we saw her brother in present day, but not the almost-leading-man?? I wanted a gathering of the friends in the present-day scenes, but they didn't even mention them.

The trailer was awesome. Does anyone know if this is made by the same company as Cutie Pie? I like ZeeNew, but Cutie Pie was so hard to get through. The plot was just a thin excuse for sex and make-out scenes. And the story potential was SO interesting, but they didn't do anything with it. I hope that's not the case for this one, because it looks really unique.
