If you're curious about Kaho I think there are better places to start. Having looked at your lists you should probably watch something like Prison Princesses (with Mitsushima Hikari), Umimachi Diary (with Ayase Haruka and Hirose Suzu) or Blindly in Love (Hoshino Gen). Pink and Grey (with Suda Masaki) is great but quite dark. Apologies for firing off the names of actors and titles without much prompt.

is this really still airing ? after what happened ?
It's still airing although the ratings have taken a hit. Only half the episodes have been filmed though; can you imagine how awkward it must be for the cast when Dekkun shows up to the rest of the filming?

One thing I was really baffled about. What was the 'invisible war' that Yoko refers to in her introduction?

Loving this so far. It's like a live action Ghibli TV series with a nice dose of adult realism.

So glad you posted that link, Man_Chair! And you're right. Anyone interested in taking on this brilliant drama…
It's a bit disheartening to see that most people seem to like or hate this series simply based on the extreme content, without reading into much else.
