I wish I could rate this drama better because the latter half was great. But I can't ignore the slo-mo of the first half...

I think it gets better starting with ep 7, when the flashbacks are almost over.

I don't see what's so wrong with JongDae, despite some childishness and a little noble idiocy... It took me until ep 4 to get on that ship though.
But by K-drama standards, I think JongDae is a very decent guy.

You're so right! The box thing makes no sense. If it's our present Mirae who opens the box in her future it's possible, but then she wouldn't have the key to open it.

I love the Emperor and Sungnyang's interactions! The Emperor's character growth caused by her is so gratifying (although he still has a long way to go). I'm glad I'm on that ship, with history and all. Just hope she'll come to like him back. Compared to that, the king is rather boring as a character...

Yoo Kyung's home looks suspiciously similar to Maru's house in Nice Guy.

Yeah, it's kinda funny how they crammed everything melo into one show. Just when you think you got through everything they add some more. I laughed a lot at the family fight, too xD And I wish I could also laugh at the creepy nurse, but most of the time she just gets on my nerves.

I just watched ep 19 there and subs were mostly decent.

They should just ditch Shin Yeong and make this the story of San's and Chi Ho's rivalry/friendship.
Love everything else about this show!

I actually watched that scene trice because I didn't understand at first and then I thought I understood it wrongly because it's so absurd ^^'
By now I have stopped caring about the show. Let's see just how ridiculous it gets!

I didn't really care about Dan either until last ep xD He's still a complete loser, so I can totally understand why everyone likes his dad better, but I can't help but cheer for him^^

The story is like a Korean Makjang so far, so if you don't mind a bit of crazy melo you might like it. It's really entertaining, but I don't think it's very good.

Edit: Okay, by now I'm halfway through and I don't think it's just not very good. I think it's pretty bad. Can't recommend!
