I posted this (see spoiler) as a comment a little further down, and I think the writers knew very well what they…
I don't think it was just ambition for Min Woo. I think it's probably hard for a young lawyer, or young employee in any prestigious profession really, to see some of your peers get ahead fast because of connections when you don't have them. Remember him telling Soo Yeon about his family circumstances? When he saw Woo Young Woo’s dad coming out of the boss’s office Min Woo drew the wrong conclusion, but it could have been true… because it does happen. And of course he choose to act dishonourably… but that was the function of the character. Min Woo being the bad guy opened up the opportunity for Soo Yeon to be a supportive female friend instead of the obligatory bitchy female like in other dramas. Another function was showing a character who doesn’t immediately reacts positively to Young Woo’s autism but needs time to learn and be in contact with it… like many in real society, unfortunately. Because of this I’ve liked Min Woo as a character from the beginning and I’m happy that he got the chance to redeem himself. They way all of them ended up around that table as a team was so good to see. Fingers crossed for season 2.
Like the little insight of his real self we got in the beginning of the show from when we would see him at home…

Also, I might be one of the few people who think this, but I didn't find the cases boring 😂 I work in the law…
The cases were awesome. I'll take your word for the fact that they were realistic when it comes to legal practice. I liked it too that they weren't over the top and too dramatic. But they were so much more! They took on all kinds of social issues, some of which are currently still precarious topics in South Korea. From female rights in the workplace to the demands on young students... to the importance of internet security in the last episode. There was something like that in every episode. Far from boring in my opinion. Combined with the overal theme of living a full life with autism and disability this show was just a fantastic combination of substance and joy. I'm gonna miss it!!
Uh... "and the difficulties she goes through in life" you say? You mean life as in... family... work... interactions…
There's her father’s love and sacrifice, her mother’s apparent lack of love, there’s the respect of most of her coworkers, there’s the friendship of one colleague and the jealousy of another, there’s the gratitude of her clients… and there’s the admiration, infatuation and romantic love of her boyfriend. I think "Korea" got it pretty spot on!
Unpopular opinion: Korea doesn't know how to make dorama without putting in romance when it doesn't even need…

Woo Young Woo is a fully rounded human being. Whether autistic or not, or lawyer or whatever... humans need love in their life, and she's got every right to get some... and give some!
Wow, If you are joking then😂😂. But If you're not I suggest therapy🤔🤔
Oh wow. You do realize we’re talking about a fictional character here, right? With a function in the storyline. Young Woo may be vulerable, but she's anything but weak... and that's exactly why Min Woo feels threatened by her. His function is to show that Young Woo can hold her own and stand up for herself. That's why I like the character Min Woo. I‘d say you should maybe consider taking your own advice and find some help… but I don’t like calling people crazy, stupid, and evil just for writing a comment about a television show… so I won’t.
…and not just because he told his roomy Joon Ho to “Go for it!” (our eternal thanks for that one!!!). Yes, he's pulled some nasty tricks. But he’s a character with potential to grow and learn, which gives the ensemble cast a more interesting dynamic. It’s one of the reasons why Soo Yeon can be a true friend to Young Woo, because she doesn’t need to fulfil the bitchy-second-female function. Also… Min Woo is not a complete bastard, judging from the way he handles cases. He rooted for the lesbian couple in episode 2 for instance, and he gave the kids in episode 10 his silly name in seconds. It's probably hard for a young lawyer to bust their ass to get (and keep) a position at a prestigious law firm and then see someone getting it handed to them because of connections. Even if in Young Woo’s case that’s a misunderstanding. It might have happened to him before… There are 6 episodes left… in which he’ll probably even get a little worse… only for him to fall for Young Woo as we all have. I’m hoping.
