I usually only watch Thai, Taiwanese or Korean (bl) dramas. This is my first J-drama and I love it! It is definitely noticeable that is adapted from a manga / anime but that doesn't bother me at all, I actually love the acting. I'm not really into reading manga or watching anime (I tried!) but the way they made this is really good and I enjoy the story so far. I don't think you need to be into manga/anime to be able to love this one!
