That role in Jiu Liu overlord wasn't right for him because he had zero chemistry with Bai Lu for a very simple reason: they don't match "depth" wise.. she's good at light roles like the one she played in "arsenal military" , but didn't convince me at all in "the legends" (I even stopped watching early because she was overdoing it) , eventhough she was in front of the same actor, Xu Kai. He's good in "deeper" roles, complex stuff... and his agency is basically sleeping on his talent. I hope he'll get the hell out of there.
