Yo guys, what's with this 7,7 rating !? Really, that's a heck of a good show, I've watched the 4 episodes and they were great. The acting is good, the storyline is starting well and I smiled when I saw the restaurant, it's the same set as the one used in "the starry love" for the third soul shard of the Empyrian. The only regret is not having the true voice of Xu Zhenxi (Jeremy), it does match his character, but still, the voice over is also good.
He was GREAAAAAT in the journey of Chongzi and Novoland: the castle in the sky 2 where he was a cute and a dorky general for the golden winged empress! In the first drama I mentioned, he's so graceful with facial expressions on point, grat acting! His grace reminds me of Luo Yunxi's acting in the Ashes of Love, such ethereal appearance as a Demon/Senior Mu, I love it! I'll be watching out for his new stuff and looking forward to see him in more lead roles, so please producers and directors, don't sleep on this gem!

I got a yearly pass for youku and I'll keep it to encourage in my own way such great work. I love it when I see talent, good acting, a scenario that isn't dumb with useless conflicts. I'm honestly done with high traffic actors, some of them are good yes, but others (I won't give names lol) are just overrated and it frustrates me to see good talents go to waste in support roles or low budget mini dramas.
Ah don't remind me of ChongZi , they did bad with her character and lack of communication between her and Yinfan. In this series ,it's different, even the secrets were held for a good reason, not because they were dumb.

It had everything to be a great success but the scenarists had other plans to fluff it up. If you want to see something new with the same universe, watch "the starry night", it's good. I also watched "the autumn ballad" who's starring the same ML, and dang, that story was good AND they made good use of him.

To be honest, I'm disappointed by the scenario, I kept my rating at 9 (didn't change it) because it has everything set to be a success, then they messed up with these lousy characters, stupid backstabbing and irrational obsession with Chong Zi, her talking about a "mistake" whereas EVRYBODY SAW the purpose of her opposing cleansing that frigging demon sword (to keep the last shred of her "uncle" intact),etc. The usuless misunderstanding as if we're not talking about immortals, it's a lousy soap opera starring some ignorant commoners lol, I've seen parodies making more sense than this stuff. There were more intricate ways to develop the story, maybe work on that last shred and explain what happened when a whole sect was dissiminated but naah, just make a random pupil break a protective spell made by the most powerful immortal out there (Luo Yinfan) and torture Chong Zi. Of course, in those 3 years, none of those who are interested by her came by to see how that nap is going... yes it's a fantasy but should make sens... it didn't. I recommended this series to another girl then I was like "ok dear, I have another proposal for Jeremy Xu (Luo Yinfan, I never saw his work before 2023), go watch the autumn ballad, and just drop the journey of Chongzi".... guess what, she thanked me because she dedided to drop it the minute she saw his other work.
She has great acting skills in the starry love, good control of her facial expression and isn't annoying in a role where others might have been iverplaying this character. I'm loving her!

well it didn't work for them (obviously) and it seems to me that many koreans marry late, very late (forties) for the men. So maybe he'll settle down with her, good for them.
