Review Healer
LOL, after watching only one episode I can totally see why you gave this rating and wrote such a review, tho my rating would be probably even lower :D now I am sorry I have not watched the episode 5 :D :D tho I am glad I have saved myself the precious time of watching this, based on the things you have described it is even worse than I have imagined...

What a coincidence, after "Tomorrow With You", I ran into your comment again and it seems like we agree yet again…
haha, that's cool :)
I have not really watched another episode and I think Netflix already took it away...and I don't care at all :D

I just did not understand why they could save Ma Rin's life (though we are not sure how long they managed to live…
thanks :)

Title Tomorrow with You Spoiler

Yes, that would make sense. But I still felt that they could do more and just protect him by staying with him, and not just hoping that he is going to the airport so he is ok...

On My Fellow Citizens! May 20, 2022
I have watched the first episode only so far, but this was fun and so easy to watch! I feel like this kind of characters suit Siwon so much, he can finally pull all the faces here :D And he gets to be a politician, every SuJu member have seen this coming :)
I just hope that contrary to the comments here, Kim Min Jung would not ruin this for me (was not a fan of her in Gap Dong at all).

I am probably the odd one here, I have wanted to watch Healer so many times already, finally watched the first episode and...I was quite disappointed. Was it because in 2014 this drama was super cool and now it is not? To me it did not feel really suspenseful, the fighting scenes were meh (as if the camera guy just did not want us to see the action, so the metro scene was dark and left too much for imagination...), and it's like no one knows the identity or the face of the guy, but he turned his sunglasses to the dark mode only while standing in front of the train, and it is not like he is wearing a mask or so....I don't know, I will watch another episode and if I am still feeling meh throughout it, I am dropping it...I can see a pattern with me actually not being a fan of the highly rated dramas in so many cases.

I have started watching this sooner than expected because well, Netflix is just going to take it away from me, but I have really enjoyed the first episode so far and this is my fourth drama with Shin Hye Sun and again she does not disappoint at all! This is the second drama with Kim Myung Soo, and he is also good so far, and fluffy :D

Title Uncontrollably Fond Spoiler
I felt like this drama would be fine having 16 or 14 episodes, 20 was too many, because there were soo many redundant…
Jung Eun was just a rude, selfish, aggressive brat that should be slapped hard and then thrown into prison, she did not have an ounce of good in her after the hit-and-run (before she was just conceited). And I have found the actress super robotic and unnatural.
No Jik was seriously a super cute brother, and a great guy.
And let me comment about Jun Young's mother...omg, what a mother she was!!! So she wanted her son to become a prosecutor like his dad, well he has chosen another path, so she practically disowned him and was aggressive and ignorant towards him for how many, about 10 years? Then she learns the reason and feels sorry, but is too ashamed to face her son, so she is still quite distant, and then she learns he is sick, so she is too sad to meet him? It's like she was not there for him for too many years and too many moments when he needed her, but he never stopped loving her. She just lost soo many years of being with her son. He was a really lonely character and I felt really sorry for him.
Btw why at the end we do not see any punishment for Jung Eun's father and Ji Tae's mother? They were super despicable, but his mother was only demoted (still being an owner) and we see Jung Eun threatening Ji Tae that her father would take revenge? I wanted to see everyone punished at the end :D

Title Uncontrollably Fond Spoiler

I was expecting myself to cry at the end when he died, but the scene was soo subtle and I was already prepared for it anyway. I have cried before he died, when he had all of those heartful and emotional conversations with his loved ones, and when he came to talk to his father towards the end, but lost his memories, and made his father cry with his naive and innocent attitude towards him, that was so sad.
Bae Suzy had her moments when her acting was fine, but most of the time we see No Eul crying, screaming and being just loud and annoying. I get it that she went through a tragedy and tough times in her life, but for her calling Jun Young and Ji Tae jerk...she was a jerk most of the time (btw how can she say to Ji Tae that she does not need him anymore, so she would not meet him?). She also lost her morals for money (I mean I get it she is desperate, but filming illegal stuff and then taking the hush money is just bad). She was also super rude and pushy towards people. This makes it hard for me to feel sorry for her. Then towards the end, she is portrayed as some poor innocent girl we are supposed to like, as if they forgot about her stupid behavior and character. Personally, even though Jun Young was not perfect, I liked his character a lot more (not only because he was the sick one). Also Ji Tae, I really enjoyed how he went against his rich parents because he had morals (tho I do not get the talk about who is gonna stay with his mother, leave the b**** alone, she wanted to kill everyone including her own son, and someone needs to take care of her? Even her husband was not as bad as her.)

I felt like this drama would be fine having 16 or 14 episodes, 20 was too many, because there were soo many redundant scenes (the arguments between the restaurant people, between agency staff etc., too many back-and-forth stuff with ML & FL). I started to enjoy the drama more towards the second half.
Kim Woo Bin is a great actor, as much as his macho scenes are good, I really enjoyed his emotional scenes, and also when he showed his cute and innocent side.

It is quite refreshing how certain stuff were not made typical drama scenes here, e.g. how normally I suppose…
:D Yes, they will, after they treat each other like that...

Started to watch this because I saw Netflix is trying to take it away from us :D But the first episode was quite weak, I have had higher expectations (but probably should not have). I would give it a chance for another one or two episodes, but if it does not get better, I am dropping this.

Title My Name Spoiler
I believe Mu Jin also used Ji Woo for his revenge on Gi Ho for planting an undercover cop on him, and let her…
Btw was not police harassing her as a teenager because her dad was thought to be a gangster? And kids at school bullied her more or less for the same. Although a lot of people may also disaagree, as a more logical thing I would expect her to hate her father more than the police. Also why would police try to do everything to find a murderer of a gangster....but never mind, we seem to disagree a lot :D I was just stating here my opinion about the series.

Normally I am not a big fan of "women power", however here I really enjoyed the women fighting together against the evil guy, and doing it the smart way. I liked the relationship of Hi Soo and Seo Hyun, and how Hi Soo understood that she is in a similar position like Ja Kyung / Hye Jin, instead of endlessly fighting against her. I was also a fan of the Soo Hyuk-Yoo Yeon pairing and how Soo Hyuk was able to stand up for his feelings and beliefs. The hysterical screams of the family members was sometimes too much, but I think that it was also portrayed that way, like let's see how absurd they are, not like in Makjangs where you should feel it's somehow a part of life :D
The old lady and the daughter were horrible, I do not believe they had such a horrible life that they should treat others like that, they were just spoilt and could not handle everything was not going their way. The same goes for Ji Yong, although he was not spoilt and probably had a tough childhood, he punished everyone else around who did not have anything to do with it, so I could not feel sorry for him at all.
