Caught up with ep 21 and 22, what a plot twist for ML. I wish they have kept to the wedding gown design(red with green overlayer coat) that FL has selected with ML and not the full red piece that we see here.

I agreed with you on this. The script suddenly make her weak and not able to fight back, WHY? My only hypothesis is that in this scene, they can demonstrates how ML can kick ass fight his way through and even though being threatened by how FL being held captive, he could still save the day. Typical cliche trope. lol!
My only logical explanation, and reminding myself that this is a mini drama, so logic doesn’t apply and lower my expectation.😅

Hahaha, reading Dream of Red Mansion was a torture for me too! I preferred Jin Yong’s Wu Xia world. I am transiting into more Sci-fi themes now. Glad you like Mobius, I totally enjoyed that too. Parallel World was another good title I recommend and The Three Body Problems, if you haven’t seen that, I like the Chinese culture revolution theme although the novel is more explicit, the drama adaptation got to the gist too, the casting were fantastic for that show;)
I haven’t get to The Guardians yet, in my PTW, so many dramas released at one time, have to be selective. We have some similar taste in drama, will see you around;).

Ep 14, just a silly observation…ML brought FL to the lake to chat and he tied the horse carriage on a small log??? How does that work? I normally thought to prevent the horse from running away, is to tie it to a tree. That’s the first I noticed, never saw this in other WuXia drama. Our ML must be so nervous on what he wanted to say to FL that he forgets how to secure his horses. lol!
