Wow…epic first ep. Beautiful world building scenes, beautiful costume. So if Ming Xian didn’t seek revenge, she would have happily live as a fairy?? But she has to live, so her life is entangled with Ji Bo Jai. I like the male face disguise of Ming Xian😍, handsome actor too! Actually this show has a lot of pretty faces;), what an eye feast!
The story is set in a competitive world of spiritual world, so I expect massive use of CGI, hope it keeps to the quality.

Hopefully this doesn’t become a typical mis-understanding trope between them.😅

It’s very common that there are always people who watches a show but doesn’t see what happen, and even they see it but yet fail to notice and if they do noticed they don’t reflect and would rather stay fix on certain opinion. z😅🫢
I thought for the past few ep., the story has progressively shown us how ML is realizing his love for FL and his trying to understand and change, however many viewers are still stuck at ML’s past behavior, so I see no point arguing if they want to stay there. Let’s enjoy the show as it is, as some of us do get it and definitely enjoying this;).

Ah I see, so we will probably have more plot twist…heard it’s a HE, so we can peacefully wait for the release of last few episodes;).

You have a point there. I think maybe it’s just enemy state, but for Xiao Daddy, he was still kind-hearted to choose and adopt the child who was orphaned because of war.

Yeah, the latest ep., suddenly became political, SXY wants to do a treason act and wants ML to help him as apparently ML’s original birth parents is from Song, the enemy State to the one ML is serving now.

Caught up with ep 21 and 22, what a plot twist for ML. I wish they have kept to the wedding gown design(red with green overlayer coat) that FL has selected with ML and not the full red piece that we see here.

I agreed with you on this. The script suddenly make her weak and not able to fight back, WHY? My only hypothesis is that in this scene, they can demonstrates how ML can kick ass fight his way through and even though being threatened by how FL being held captive, he could still save the day. Typical cliche trope. lol!
My only logical explanation, and reminding myself that this is a mini drama, so logic doesn’t apply and lower my expectation.😅

Nice review! Thanks for sharing. You can try this FL in Threads of Destiny, she is very good there too. My first mini drama with her. Between I am still waiting for slowly release to binge all, had this on hole at ep 22. Can you share what’s the ending like?
