The novel series of the story ‘DMBJ’ aka DaoMuBiJi has been completed in 2021, 8 volumes has been published. It is translated to English version aka Grave Robbers Chronicles aka Grave Robbers Notes aka The Lost Tomb. But I am not sure whether all have been translated to English version.
Any correlation to ultimate note? I just started episode 17.
The mystic nine is Wu Xie’s grandfather generation story. Southern Anecdote is a side story of another fraction Zhang family. I will be very happy if they include these three dudes as guest stars, but I wonder how the story will be told. Excited.

This series covers about volume 1&2. I do recommend reading as the novel will fill some gaps as this drama is only 18 ep., so lots of more concise plots.
I finished this and I am impressed by its potential story telling, it would have been better if this is a full…
So we have the younger FL helping her older self to uncover her father’s treason and save the day…but why we let the villain talk so much and not capture the villain’s accomplish on time??? Sigh. But I guess it have to be that way as they both have to die or cannot explain the older FL for continuing living. Then what surprises me is the modern time arc in the last 5 mins, where FL is actually writing this script, the common method of explaining rebirth. Interesting that this bothers to add that and gave us a OE of FL meeting the ML in modern times…ending with a note, “ It’s not a chance encounter but everlasting entanglement”. Sweet! Both leads are beautiful in their modern clothes;). Love the Easter eggs and Bilibili’s mascot dancing in the back ground. I must say this is really good for a mini series.

Think PanZi is with Wu SanXing’s generation whereas PangZi aka Fatty is created for Wu Xie’s generation and became part of the ‘Iron Trio’ in later story.
So what is their relationship? the synopsis stated supposed twin brother.
I felt it’s a mistake in the synopsis. The show explained that they are not related;). The rebirth story with revenge has been overused lately, but this one, both ML and FL acting are good, story pacing and editing is so far so good so it’s watchable, IMO. FL has another ongoing mini drama, titled Spring Fever, that one I dropped as the story pacing and editing just can’t make it.

I am talking about Wang Pang Zi not Pan Zi. Pan Zhi is still hospitalized;).I wonder why this series used such similar name, easily confused by non Chinese speaking viewers 😅.
I finished it, now wishing for more from this production team this casts to continue the story telling. I am surprise for 18 ep., they added quite a lot of plot details and even revealing Wu San Xing’s secret in the end. For those who knows this series, may understand, but for those who follow this the first time…will you feel empty, more lost and puzzles unsolved?
