The novel is actually more intense and serious. Initially I thought the drama will take that direction too from the trailers, but then after watching till ep17, I do feel that the director and script here focus more on humour and Rom. Com. I am pretty okay with it and nice to see that the drama still keep some of the iconic scenes from the novel. Highly recommend reading the novel too.
