We are now at the frustrating common theme of XianXia story, ML severely injured to save FL, FL sacrifices to save ML, ML continues to save FL and it goes on and on…

Agreed! I am also really impressed by HYX’s performance, she is able to be cute and yet not to cringe. A good balance. I am excited to see her transformation.

The Narcissus flower’s dream arc feels like foreshadowing how immortal and mortal also won’t end well. And soon we will be moving into FL’s reincarnation to mortal realm. Someone said this has three lifetimes, so I presume the mortal realm will be second lifetime.?

Yup, it will not suit the original theme of this story. Well like you say, there is possibility of them reuniting 12 yrs later when XY manages to repair his world to stability and then made it possible for him to stay with BX in human realm;)
But I heard there won’t be a season 2, however one can hope;)
Painting arc, and the Inn keeper stories were two of my favourite.
